I just watched this again for the first time since the live stream. I couldn't hear anything clearly the first time, but now that I got a chance to, all I can say is WOW! Looks like we landed ourselves another quality character kid here with Russell! I love the type of person ND continues to go after. It's going to feel so good when ND works its way back to the top of the football world with a bunch of young men like Kei here!

Couldn't agree more. I know it's 50/50 right now whether he stays at rb or moves to wr. My feeling i really hope he stays at rb because of his vision running with the ball. He's not a burner but he has a great opportunity to work with Coach Longo for a year and become bigger, stronger and faster. I envision him as that back that could plug away and get 6-7 yards a clip with the occasional big run to deflate defenses.

Russel has said from the jump that he likes to like up as a WR as well as RB, and that Kelly will probably use him in the slot as well as RB. Hopefully, Kelly will get creative and get the ball to him in a variety of ways.
