I personally find the most irritating, overstated and ridiculous repeating statement of the year was listening to all the Rees Kool-Aid drinkers make one statement. Well, he is 6-2, 7-2 or whatever the crap.
They put the blinders on to the fact that he personally accounted for more turnovers than many entire BCS teams. They also wanted to give him credit for wins against solid teams like USC where he committed 4 turnovers, yet the defense and Hughes bailed him out.
Further, when he looked average to poor against better defenses, like Pitt, BC, USC and Stanford, we still heard that record crap.
So, nobody wants to hear that winning record crap anymore. ND has won DESPITE this kids limitations.
Many of you are probably the same people who drank the Willingham Kool-Aid when he was winning like 8 straight games his first year, despite the fact we had scored about one offensive TD.
