dayne to ku to be reunited with c-dub? that would be awesome.

Ku has some talented running backs, not sure what else they have in terms of offensive weapons, and toben oporum is a good DE.

i would think that wisconsin would be a better move since they have a better o-line and can protect dayne. and it would give him the opportunity to play for a national contender.

but would his spot be guaranteed at wisky? I'm pretty sure charlie could give him a guaranteed starting spot and maybe another year under charlie could raise his stock for the nfl immensely.

Big decision dayne, good luck wherever you go.

next year is going to be fun! i could be rooting for 2 or possibly 3 teams!

I just want him to start.... I want him healthy and show the world what he can do.. He was never set up for this offense but I believe the kid was very talented... Kan or Wisc would be great for him

So it was BK's fault that Crist had problems throwing a 10 yard out route? And managed to make divots in the grass with his throws in front of the wide receiver. Did he get the quick hook this year? maybe. Did he have opportunities to shine? yes.

I like Crist, but I also know that he has his limits. And he is who he is, and he isn't going to magically turn into a superstar in a different system.

But still better then Rees. There is more to the Kelly and Crist deal that not being said.

You don't know that, so why would you even say it?

Dayne got his shot(s) here, he doesn't have Kelly to blame for him not taking advantage of it. Dayne is a great kid who could definitely use a change in scenery. I think he could do well on a different team with a clean mental slate. But that doesn't mean that there is some underlying evil plan by Kelly to derail Dayne. Kelly has done everything he could to not only give Dayne opportunity, but to set him up for success.

Do tell.

Of course, you don't know, so why post that? Truth is, like Wooly said, he had his shots, he didn't make the most of them, and that was that. Did Rees get a longer leash? Absolutely. But Kelly obviously saw something in Rees that he didn't see in Crist (and I completely agree with Kelly here) and so he went on with the QB that was getting wins. Good for Kelly, cause Lord knows how Irish fans get when ND loses.

I hope Crist tears it up at Kansas. I also hope Henrix/Golson/Rees (gulp) tear it up at ND and everyone is happy.

You didn't state it as an opinion. If you feel that way (with no actual information, btw) then state it as an opinion. Otherwise, you look like the @sshole.

IMO I would rather have Crist over Rees too....Well until he dropped the ball on the 2 inch line against USC that is.

Much better. You stated something as a fact, then got pissy when called out on it. We just wanted to know what you claimed to know, that's all. If it was your opinion, I wouldn't have said boo. But it was a fact, so you were pressed on it...

Crist heading to Kansas with Chuckles?

Crist heading to Kansas with Chuckles?

It appears likely. He'll be in Lawrence through Monday, and there are a lot of rumblings on Phog about Weis saying something about bringing a former player with him.

I think it would be a great fit for both. Being married to a Jayhawk, I hope it is so.

Good luck Dayne, will never understand why William Shatner never gave him another shot this year. I will root for him wherever he goes. Great kid who deserved better.

Did you just call Kelly William Shatner? Id think he'd take that as a complement.

Over/Under on games played until DC gets season ending injury=4, just a guess...
Wish him luck but this should be a very legit concern

I'm sure you mean well, but I don't think speculating on the injury of Dayne can be done in anything but poor taste. So... maybe we not go there?

My bad, I wish DC no harm just commenting on his playing history.
Go Irish
