BK is starting to wear thin with me, this is an example of "my guys".
Crist at Utah, with Norm Chow, good God, Heisman wouldnt be out of the question. Utah has the best wr's in the pac 12, and any who want to argue can suck my toe.
With a QB this year they would of went undefeated, dang Im getting goose bumps, how can I email or twiiter Crist, Utah would take care of this kid, mix him in with John White, mark my words top 10 team, maybe a Heisman.

Holy hell, you are really starting to sound like a troll (or completely insane...not sure which one).

I won't suck your toe, but I will argue with you. Saying that Utahs receivers are the best in the Pac 12 is quite possibly the funniest thing I've read on this site since, well, damn, since this one clown started a thread saying we should fire BK. Robert Woods and Marquise Lee are laughing at your post right now. So are AZ's wideouts. Go ahead and look at the numbers, and then look at some film, and then tell me Utah's wideouts are better than USC's. What a frigin' joke.

The rest of your post is so hyperbolic that I really do think you're trolling now. Crist for Heisman? Utah in the top 10 next year? Do you even watch football? Something tells me we've been trolled. Nobody can be this dense.

This is the same dude who started the "fire BK" thread, so consider the source.

Dayne will always be one of my favorite ND players. I know that I couldn't have handled his situation with even a fourth of the grace that he endured with. I will be rooting for him just as hard as I root for ND next year. God Bless You Dayne.

What is up with SLC Irish... do you hate ND? or are you just trying to get under everyone's skin?

I know right! I'm expecting any minute to see a "Ban Old Man Mike" or "Fire Jason Pham" thread from him.:sour: It's like he suddenly went insane.

One school that could be a great fit is UCLA. They already have Shaq Evans and Fauria, one of Dayne's friends, is the starting TE. If the new coach installs a pro-style offense, he could be great there.

This sucks. Dayne has been a great teammate and a great individual with everything he has had to go through. Guy has all the physical tools but injuries and some of the mental game have slowed him down. I'm really bummer.

I hope he beats the **** out of OSU, Michigan, MSU, and Penn State if he goes to Wisconsin.

I am not sure how anyone who is a Notre Dame fan could not cheer for this kid wherever he lands. He did not get a fair shake here b/c of injuries/coach-scheme changes, but he always handled it w/ class. I hope he pulls a Russell Wilson and we are watching him succeed at the highest level next year. I wish him nothing but good luck.

I think he got a fair shake. He played behind Clausen. Then started until he got hurt, then started again to start the season, but was pulled when he didn't produce. He remained 2nd string until he fumbled the ball against USC, which effectively ended his career. He's now going to go somewhere else, where he'll either be good enough or not.

I wish him luck, and respect him for all his hard work, but don't see why he is given any more consideration then any player who gets a scholarship at ND. They all work hard. They all want to play. Some do, while others don't. Dayne is no different than any other player at ND in that respect. They have to prove they deserve playing time to the Head Coach. Dayne didn't prove to Kelly that he was deserving of the job to Kelly as much as Rees did. It's not like he's the only guy from his class with this predicament. Steve Filer came in as the #4 Linebacker in the country. Deion Walker came in as the #11 Wide Receiver. Those guys didn't get near the opportunity that Dayne got, but nobody says a thing about them. And if he didn't think he could adapt to Kelly's scheme, he should have transferred. Kent Graham did that back in 1989, started at Ohio State and then had a nice NFL career. No ND fan begrudged Graham's decision, and we wouldn't if Dayne would have left if he thought he couldn't adapt to Kelly's style.

Very, very well said. Excellent post and couldn't have summed it up any better. You nailed it.

Really sucks he's going....I'll miss him. He's a true Irish guy.

However, with this happening, how does affect us with recruiting? Do we try and go after someone hard and give up that extra scholly for next year? Or possibly save it for an extra 5th year?...

I hope he has a great 5th year playing in a pro-style offense. He just never seemed completely at ease in the spread. He had periods where he seemed to get it but too often he seemed to be thinking too much rather than just reacting...that half second of processing resulted in mistakes. The knees were obviously huge factors in slowing his progress.

I would be very pleased to see him having a banner year at Wisconsin and being drafted. He's a quality young man.

Good luck Dayne in the future. You were a class act and a leader off the field, once Irish, always Irish.

I'm rooting for Crist. The guy made mistakes, sure, but also had to deal with the real luck of the Irish during his ND career (look it up, it ain't good). I hope he lands on his feet somewhere.

I think pretty much every assumption was based on the premise Dayne wouldn't be back for a fifth year.

I don't think he would have been given a 5th year scholly anyway. This was best for both parties

I do not have a twitter, but my friend said Dayne tweeted a very good message earlier today. It was along the lines of how he can't believe all the positive support he is getting from ND fans and the school. Doesn't regret anything over the last 4 years and thanked everyone for the opportunity he was given. Maybe some of you twitter folks can find it.

Like you guys have said before, can't help but root for the guy and wish him best of luck, really had the worst luck/in opportune times to make mistakes. I remember the Purdue game at Purdue two years ago. We ran the Leprechaun package and Golden Tate rounded the corner, Dayne was the lead blocker and decleated the Purdue linebacker! I yelled and got glared at! Hope he ends up at a place like Wisconsin, or hell, even Purdue!

Crist if you are reading this:

Come to Utah, Norm Chow will fix all of the things BK broke with on you. You will not be screamed at, if you make a mistake you will be given another chance. Utah has 6 recievers who will and can get open for you, no spread, pro set, John White to open things up for you. You will get to play USC in RES, a chance for redemption, plus games in California for the family. Utah wants you, Utah needs you, you will be family not an outcast.

He wasn't an outcast here. I was trying to decide if your posts are genuine or attempting to illicit a negative response. After seeing a few across a few threads I'm still not sure.

Something about your posts are.. amiss..
