Tim Tebow

There is something about this kid that really makes himself stand out more than basically every player in the NFL right now. Heart. Drive. Passion. Motivation. Work Ethic. What is wrong with today's society?! Why are people constantly hating on Tebow...I feel that not one person should have one bad thing to say about this young star. For any mechanic flaws he may have, his arm strength or accuracy flaws ect... he makes up for it on and off the field with his heart and character. Not a lot of 1st and 2nd year guys can make the plays that he is currently making on sundays, or even in there whole entire careers. He has more heart than anybody I have seen since Rudy Ruettiger. It makes him fun to watch because you never know whats next. With every other player in the NFL, they are just doing it as a job and to make a salary blah blah blah boring!! Tebow is living out his dream of playing in the NFL and he is giving fans what they pay to see. Greatness. He is doing everything the right way. He has RESPECT. A word not a lot of athletes have these days. He is bringing back the game of football the right way and the way it is supposed to be played. What a terrific player and even a better person. I'll call myself a fan.

There's no question that Tim Tebow is a tremendous human being. He's also in the top one percentile of people to ever play football.

However, you have to be a top fifteen quarterback in the world to even be a respectable NFL quarterback. That's how high the bar is, and Tebow doesn't have that sort of skillset. Heart? Sure. Passion? You betcha. Guess what...that isn't new to the NFL. You don't get that far without having a passion for the game.

Tim Tebow is not a wrestler, he is not winning by himself. Hell, he's not even a pitcher who is going on an epic streak. He is a quarterback. To give Tebow all of the credit is insulting to the other 53 active professional football players on the roster.

Keep in mind they also beat the 0-5 Dolphins, the 4-3 Raiders (in Carson Palmers second week with the team), the 4-4 Chiefs, the 5-4 Jets, the 4-6 Chargers, and the 2-9 Vikings. Nothing to really write home about when you say they beat a bunch of mediocre teams (and all but one of those victories were by more than a touchdown).

He also beat the Raiders. There are only a few elite teams, and considering his oc 's playing calling I think Tebow's playing good.Lets see if he beats the bears, I think you will see the oc throw on first early against New England.

I'm so sick of him. One day ESPN will shut the hell up about him and he can go be Ned Flanders in peace without bothering me.

The biggest problem people have with him is that he's an outspoken Christian. They won't tell you that though. They'll say they don't like him because he's not a real QB or because he's unconventional or that he's on ESPN every 15 minutes. While all that may be true, it's not the reason for the hate. His style of play may lead to criticism, but his personal faith leads to the hate.

Meant to also add that I think it's disgusting how he much he's hated by people. He's as clean cut as they come. In fact, if he killed a bunch of dogs or assaulted someone, he'd probably be hated less.

Dear TD Jesus,

Please use punctuation. Your threads are dreadful to read.

mike martz running a "dont lose the game" offense, lovie playing a REAL soft coverage, Prater having a golden leg and Barber running out of bounds and losing a fumble was the result of this game.

Tebow didn't "did it again"

No, it's his public faith that's obnoxious.

Tim Tebow receives more attention, positive and negative, because of his faith. It's annoying. He's a mediocre QB whose continued success is kind of an interesting story.

Also, he starts over Brady Quinn. That's why I hate Tim Tebow and this freakish winning streak he's on.

It's Tebow. Obviously you can't win by yourself, but he is the reason everybody around him has elevated their play. He's special, he always has been...

You're right. Prater was probably thinking about Tim's smile while he kicked 59 and 51 yard field goals to tie and win the game today.

So you're saying that Prater wasn't booming long kicks before Tebow? And you're saying that the Tebow mystique caused Barber to run out of bounds and fumble?

Help me understand how Tebow being Tebow helped this happen?

I agree with this. The Broncos believe they will win when he steps on the field in a close game which is the complete opposite of what they seemed to believe when Orton was playing. Having said that on pure talent, Tebow is in the bottom half of starting QB's and has a long way to go to become a better QB.

7-1 isn't a fluke anymore. I'm not a Broncos fan but I think its pretty obvious there is just something about Tebow that makes Denver play better. It was pretty apparent in the San Diego game earlier in the season when they started him in the 2nd half.

That's not the point... All I am saying is that he has given this team the inspiration they needed to play the kind of football they are right now. If you know anything about sport, then you know that momentum is key to win.

BTW. I think it takes a lot of balls to affirm his faith like he does, especially in the society we are living in where God is ridicule all the time. I can't say that Tebow is my favorite player, but I have a lot of respect for him.

Wasn't Prater the kicker when they started 1-4 this year? Since Tebow came in they are 7-1. The one big change since the 1-4 start is Tebow-like it or not.

I'm glad he thanks God after every game because there is simply no other explanation for this.

Tebow certainly has something special about him. But, he's not a good QB.

The Bears have the worst offense in the league without Cutler and Forte. And with Barber's two major mistakes, that game should have been over 10-7 in regulation.

It will play itself out, but the guy was 3 for 16 through 3 quarters. He's just not that good (in my very humble opinion).

Haven't followed the Broncos too closely, but based on today, if "Tebow's" wins are based on: a) hugely clutch kicking b)the other team lacking a functional NFL QB and c)the other team's running back making two egregious errors in the last minutes of a game then it's only a matter of time before his record begins to more closely resemble his skill set.

He may prove me wrong, but this is exactly what I see.

He has a very good O-line and a killer defense.

I love it. I love every single bit of it. I want Tebow in the playoffs. I want Tebow in the Super Bowl. The Tebow circus is true entertainment.
