Planning on comign to the awards banquet if they don't make it to the state finals. Alford told him he wants him to talk to BK and then they will decide on an offer or not. Also had this to say about CW:

“Coach Weis told me he hired Coach Alford at Notre Dame and he knew they were coming,” he said. “He said Notre Dame is a great school. He had nothing bad to say, but stayed focused on Florida.”

I know there were a lot of haters, but I always liked Charlie and have been hoping for his success ever since. He is an alumnus, he worked hard as hell, and he and his family were badly mistreated by our fan base on his way out. I'm pleased to hear that he isn't bad-mouthing us... even if he still has a sour taste in his mouth.

Hate to see the topic get shifted off of Miles, but Weis is straight class. Could have pulled a hissy fit like Fridgen and burned his diploma. Glad to see he wouldn't resort to negative recruiting.

I agree. Also, I think that Charlie understands that it came with the job. He said it many times when he was a coach when asked about the scrutiny.

I feel a little better also. Same with Armstead, Poole, Stanley, Yuri, and Shumate. Staff is doing a great job.

Yeah it's starting to make my head spin. Granted ND won't get all these players but with 6-8 slots left and all these talents still on the board with ND in the mix I have no idea how it's going to pan out. I can't even come up with a "wish list" because every scenario I leave out great players.

I'm just gonna throw out a theory here:

UF decided to offer Miles before he got to ND so the offer would be on the back of his mind? Maybe they feel they're slipping with Agholor and this is a way to get a better foothold on his recruitment.

If we miss on elite recruits ... I sure as hell would not mind this kid at all! These are the kids Kelly is use to getting and winning! I have a feeling we will be sitting real nice with Miles come Feb. With or without Nelson.
