So far I noticed these stats....

Top 2 RBs

Notre Dame:
Cierre Wood - 187 Carries, 1001 Yards, 5.4 Average, 9 TDs
Jonas Gray - 114 Carries, 791 Yards, 6.9 Average, 12 TDs

Total - 301 Carries, 1792 Yards, 6.15 Average, 21 TDs

Georgia:
Isaiah Crowell - 172 Carries, 832 Yards, 4.8 Average, 5 TDs
Carlton Thomas - 59 Carries, 327 Yards, 5.5 Average, 2 TDs

Total - 231 Carries 1159 Yards, 5.15 Average, 7 TDs

Sidenote: Georgia has had 12 different players rush the ball and still only have 15 total rushing TDs.

Coach Kelly is putting his money where his mouth is that he can make superstars out of his RBs with his "pass-happy" offense.

This would be no different if not better if Mahone and Marshall were doing this with their talent.

Nice work my friend.

Somebody needs to PM that to Keith.

In addition, I'd argue ND's schedule has been tougher than Georgia's so far.. sure, they play in the SEC, but they haven't played any of the 3 best SEC teams so far.. (BAMA, LSU, and ARK) hell, they haven't played ANYBODY except Boise State, but their defense is suspect, too..

really "eye-opening" statistics.. good work, my man

Great find, berry! However, the math is a little off on ND's total yards per carry. 1792 divided by 301 doesn't equal 6.15. ;)

Also look at the rushing defenses we have faced compared to them:

ND

10. MSU
12. USF
16. USC
24. Pitt
43. Mich
59. WF
62. BC
79. Navy
85. Purdue
110. Air Force
115. Maryland

UGA
22. Vanderbilt
37. Boise St
51. Florida
53. South Carolina
66. UT
73. Miss St
98. Auburn
100. UK
104. NMSU
112. Ole Miss
80(FCS). Coastal Carolina

Thing is though that all this doesn't really matter. Keith has love UGA since he was in the 6th grade and we would have to show him a lot more than some rushing stats to sway him. Just for Wooly, UGA lock.

Even more impressive considering this list. And you're right that all this probably doesn't really matter. Damn statistics like these and Whiskey's up-to-date ROI data, unfortunately, don't matter at all to some recruits. : (

Honestly, I wouldn't blame the guy if he did quit. He's been on the hot seat for years.

Yeah I started reading the UGA boards and UTenn boards because Dooley has been mentioned as a replacement. No one seems to believe it at all.

Won't lie I hope it's true haha

The Georgia boards have a few theories:

- GT nerds hacked the site lol

- Richt is not happy with the extension they offered him and is walking on his own.

110% FWIW

Rumors swirling that Richt will leave at the end of the year. No truly reliable sources but could be interesting?

Georgia football coach Mark Richt rumored to be leaving

Lol first he is getting fired and now he is just going to leave on his own?!

He laughed at these rumors today and said that he will be at UGA for as long as they will have him.

UGA fans think Trooper Taylor and Kirby Smart are behind the rumors haha.

that was my take on it...also like how they believe marshal would then end up at south carolina or clemson

it's a done deal....j/k haha...i'd be surprised if he left after having a good year. lack of an appealing extension tells me the georgia officials aren't 100% convinced if that happens to be the case.

Dooley as a replacement? Now THAT is comical! Tennessee fans probably started that rumor in an effort to help rid themselves of that fraud of a coach.

Word coming out of Athens is that all thier stars on defense will not leave early for the NFL. If true, it would be very weird for Richt to walk away from a National Championship caliber team.
