So he may never receive an offer...because Poole will be coming to South Bend, so replace Rios with Poole.

My post says "I wouldn't be surprised to see" 3 of the 5 guys I listed. Because they have ND at the top or near the top of their list. I would be surprised to see Poole because he's still committed to Florida and I really don't think he is coming here barring some craziness... so no, I don't think I'll add him to my arbitrary list. Thanks.

Either way you slice it, with the news on WR/S Ian Thomas it's pretty clear that with some of the skill guys popping up now that the staff feels good. This probably also includes dudes like Demetrius Cox. Going to be an interesting/fun next two weeks.

From the inside poster on II:

They liked Thomas a lot early and consistently, and he would have been a nice piece to the WR puzzle, especially in the Slot where we could use another top guy.

But that's the nature of recruiting: things sometimes change and things happen along the way. Relationships evolve and opportunities present themselves. To say recruiting at this level is a "fluid situation" would do both fluid and situation injustice.

We still feel pretty good about WR recruiting.

Why are we pursuing Raph instead of him...seems like there was interest early on and we already offered him.

Because we tried slow playing him and it backfired. This recruiting class is quickly becoming a cluster eff.
