Imagine Decker on one end and this kid on the other. Everett Golson is going to need a stepladder to see his receivers.

It'll be like this, but on every play, and Golson will be standing straight up.

Kiel wont have a problem seeing over it.

I kid, I kid... kinda...

If we cant land a big name guy by signing day, I wouldn't be against picking up this kid at all. Kelly seems to have an eye for finding kids flying under the radar. I like that.

IDK if he is considered an under the radar kid anymore. He already has a Miami offer and look at the teams who have interest in him.

While Miami is a good offer, according to Rivals, it's his only offer. I would call only having one offer as being under the radar.

He only just really decided to play football and is blowing up after a recent dominating performance at a camp. ND only even found out about him through a tip from an alumni. I would say he is more of an emerging prospect than under the radar - the latter infers that he has actually been on a football radar at all for a period of time.

I wasn't inferring anything other than he is a prospect that other teams aren't looking at. Whether a kid has been playing or not wasn't my point. I guess I don't go into that amount of depth on the comment of "under the radar". Either way, Kelly finds kids that other coaches haven't, and this kid is one of those prospects looking at the fact that he only has one offer. That's my point, call it what you want.

sheesh....

Any idea how close we are to offering? Maybe waiting to see what the current offers do?

It was Ifeadi (wasn't it?) who was in a similar situation. Moved, didn't play football before, started playing, and quickly became a star.

There's other guys who fit this story too. These kids always seem to be monsters. I like that we are getting involved early.

ND coaches will be at his school tomorrow to watch him in person. We should know much more about where this could be going after that.
I got a feeling an offer will be coming today...kid is going to blow up in college.

Trying to come for an OV this weekend per Sapp

I'm thinking that both this kid and Rios need offers. Let's go!

Of course, I don't know much about Sunny here, but I hope we hear lots of good things coming soon.

Well, you can't teach this kind of size and athleticism. You can teach technique...

That's what I'm thinking. Kid has as much potential as anyone in the class. Right now I thi k schools haven't offered because they are either filled or don't want to take the risk.

I agree. It's kind of the problem with recruiting being done so early. A lot of quality players get left out because they flourish or they get find out too late in the process.
