Of course Notre Dame would be the perfect fit for him.

But, Clemson would be a pretty nice fit for him as well. Marshall, Watkins, Hopkins, Ellington, Bellamy... wow.

Where does the tough schedule in 12 come into it? We should start out 4-0 with wins over Navy, Purdue, Michigan State (no Kirk Cousins) and finally beat Michigan at home! next is the U they don't scare me, Stanford with no Luck, BYU, Pitt, Wake & BC should all be wins. Which leaves us with at Oklahoma (no landry jones) and at USC!

Luckily for everyone else games aren't played on paper. ND still has yet to prove they can handle inferior opponents on a consistent basis. Until that is proven, 8-4 is very much realistic for 2012.

Notre Dame has played six inferior opponents this season, PITT, Purdue, Air Force, Navy, Wake Forest, and Maryland. They blew out four of them. Not extremely consistent but they are getting there. Better than years past.

Would be great to add my Marshall. Can never have too many great RB's. I think USC at one point had half their roster RB's. The good thing is, Kelly can have a lot of talent at one position and still get them all on the field by moving them around, if need be, to different positions.

i just can't see Marshall fading UGA right now after their beatdown of Auburn. Richt doesn't appear to be going anywhere unless they lay an egg against UK.

Richt is not getting fired unless he had a perv DC whom he didn't tell the cops about. Let's all just accept that now.

South Florida is mediocre and would qualify as "inferior".

If Kiel commits before Marshall decides, I think we have a better chance. I'd take Ayoola and be happy with it, as well.

Murray is a redshirt sophomore and he wouldn't be drafted highly. He'd be a fool to declare.

Murray's good, however there's absolutely zero chance he enters the draft this year.

really? zero chance, odds he will be back, but idk bout zero chance. we've learned in the past when a QB's hot sometimes they go. jury's still out on luck, but looks like right now he made the right choice. i'm not sure clausen made the right choice.

I would think that Luck, Barkley, Jones, Weeden, maybe Moore, maybe RGIII, and Wilson, could all go above Murray. Guys like Cousins and Keenum could be high on some teams boards as well.

i'm thinking with the type of offense that he works with and his ability to use the tight end really fits the pro game...absolutely he will benefit from staying in school, but idk what these kids are thinking anymore...if stanford continues to have success (not yesterday), but that could also help his cause.

to be honest... not to read too much into twitter but this sounds really encouraging- not so much for getting keith but the fact that it seems darby is recruiting him. i dont think we have anything to worry about with darby...

Not to get peoples hopes up, but it may or may not mean something. Really, no idea what any of this means. What?

Him and Darby are good friends. But Darby wont be the reason Keith comes to Notre Dame. Every indication out there is that Keith told Coach Richt that he will be coming to Georgia while they were having eggs and coffee a couple months ago.

This needs to stop hes going to Georgia.

If he was 100% sure that he was going to Georgia, he would be committed. I think he will end up there too, but I also thought that Ishaq was a lock for PSU, Prestwood was a Nole, and that Aaron Lynch was gonna follow him.

It ain't over until they are wearing another jersey... and sometimes not even then.

Precisely.

Darby and Marshall rarely talk about Notre Dame.

No disrespect intended, but nobody on this board has a clue where Keith Marshall or any other uncommitted recruit will end up. These guys are uncommitted for a reason; they do not know yet where they will go to college. Many "committed" players have not even made up their minds, we all know that.

Perhaps Keith Marshall is a Georgia lean, but any number of things might happen. The kid made an official to ND and he is still considering ND so it would be no huge surprise if he chooses ND.

Do I guarantee he is coming to ND? Of course not...even he can't guarantee anything. "Leaders" in November mean next to nothing. It is good enough that we are being considered.
