Great news for the kid. We already landed a top five lineman for the 2013 class. That's the one thing we're lacking in this class. To me, this was just as big a building block as Tee was this year. Next years class could be huge.

I think this is one of those kids that was a lock for us from the get-go. I'm glad that Kelly and his staff are continuing to strengthen ties with him... but I would have been surprised if we hadn't gotten him. It's nice to have a player like this fall into your lap.

This is kind of like Michigan getting Shane Morris. The kid was a lock for Michigan because he grew up a Michigan fan. I have to hear about how he will be Michigan's savior at least once a week... but I think it's hilarious that Steve Elmer is rated more highly than Morris by 24/7. I'm going to be sure to point that out to my friends the next time they're going on about how he is the #1 overall recruit next year hands down and how he made Gunner Kiel look like an idiot on the recruiting circuit.

I'm thrilled to have Steve on board for many reasons... the fact that I can point out that an in-state kid chose us over Michigan will give me a perfect response to all the Shane Morris hype.

Tom's All-American team is basically a list of Tom's top recruits, doesn't factor junior season performance into it too much.

When the season ends, we'll name the U.S. Air Force Junior All-Americans and do a big story on the site. Steven will be a part of that........
