I'm going to throw an argument out there just for s*its and giggles...

If Marshall is such a Georgia lock,as some people think, why has he not committed by now? Richt isn't going anywhere,he knows who the coach is gonna be,and has always been a UGA fan....but not commit yet? Doesn't make sense.

I personally think we're right in the middle of this. I think he is FAR from a UGA lock.

I think he wants to finish taking his visits before he commits. Also the kid seems to like the attention and you will get more attention if you're uncommitted.

Exactly.You made my point. He wants to see a bunch of different schools and see what they bring to the table...meaning he is far from a uga lock.

Just hope Kelly is not dumb enough this year to put all his eggs in this basket like he did with Huggins last year. There are some really good backs out there that would like to come to ND. We canNOT go without a second back this season.

I wish Marshall the best as he looks pretty locked in to Georgia. Not every kid will choose ND. I can handle that.

Name some.

Specifically, which RBs (aside from the top three we targeted) are worth turning down Odenigbo, Banner, Payton, Agholor, etc?

We went hard after Mahone, B. Marshall, and K. Marshall. We got Mahone, B. Marshall couldn't pass admissions, and K. Marshall looks like a Georgia lock.

So who else is worth one of our last 6-7 spots in this class over the blue chippers we're currently closing in on?

Furthermore, we'll currently have 5 RBs on scholarship for 2012: Wood, Roberson, Atkinson, McDaniel, and Mahone. How many RBs do you think we need for Kelly's 1-back system?

Speaking of Huggins I've seen him in action three times on TV and it looks like we may have dodged a bullet! I know he's just a baby but man that kid can not hit a hole to save his life!

Eh, I hope you're right, but I think he's just running out the clock and holding off committing to make sure the UGA coaching situation is stable. It was fairly up in the air until this past weekend, but even at this point, he might as well take the extra month and make sure there are no changes in that regard; he derives no benefit from committing to them today rather than early December, as they will clearly hold the spot open for him.

Maybe the offensive line cannot make a hole. They are 111th in rushing offense in the country. He might not be playing well but the offensive line is a problem there or so it seems as well.

I know it likely wouldnt happen, but I would love to see Agholor get a crack at RB if were were fortunate enough to land him. That kid is too electric with the ball in his hands not to touch it 20 times a game.

UNC plays at 12:30, more than enough time to get to Wake after if he wants to see both games.

It was awfully nice of the staff to have Theus on campus for the USC game, at which he spent more than just a little time getting in Marshall's ear about UGA.

Looks like he's not at the UNC game. He also told Mahone that he was once interested in BAMA and LSU but that they "weren't for me." I like this guy.
