I have never heard of a team having this many kids quit during a season. Esepcially two this late in a winning season.

This kinda like our position right now you have 2 different coach these players have played for. One is laid back then you have a new guys come to town and whats to change things and some players don't like it. Hok is like kelly he wnats his guys to be accountable and if you aren't bye.

I would say he's leaving because he hasn't gotten much playing time and probably wont with the DB class coming in. Best of luck to him.

Clearly cleaning out kids to make room for ones who actually have football talent. Every kid that has left was a poor recruit or not getting PT. Not saying Hoke is forcing them out, not saying that at all. But they either see the writing on the wall themselves or Hoke, who is a straight forward dude, has let them know they're not playing/practicing/training at a level that will get them PT.

The only TE that left the program was freshman Chris Barnett.

Carvin was injured for awhile last season and there was not much hope he'd be getting any playing time with 5th year senior Woolfolk moved to his position and Thomas Gordon as his backup. Honestly I think T.Gordon should be the starting FS but I'm not on the staff.

Also a side note: I don't know how many of you ND guys watched Michigan's games lately, but Blake Countess #18 is Michigan's new starting corner. He's a freshman but kids a baller. He will probably be given the #2 jersey (elite DB on the team) by his junior year.

Yah so was RichRod. 3 straight losses. We have no room to talk smack right now. Not to mention Hokes class that is coming in. Not to mention their QB situation looks a lot brighter than ours at the moment. That 24-7 *** hammering we were putting on that we then snatched a defeat from should have been a rough start to a long year. Instead they are having a better season than we are at this point. I say at this point because I fully expect losses to Illinois, Nebraska & OSU.

I see this coach as a guy who will win at all costs and protect his butt. Mich man thru and thru.
