I think Dayne made some decent throws and I was hoping he'd have a good drive. That was just some really bad luck there... how many times does he get that right in practice? I was unhappy putting Hendrix in just as both Tommy and Dayne were getting some momentum.

Definitely need Gunner. We need an excellent QB to put us back on the map.

Talked to Gunner for a min tonight. He was the last recruit in line during the student walk. Someone walked up and said "Indiana sucks" and Gunner said "I know, that's why I'm here" He also said he was loving it and he looked to be having a blast. My first impression, was be was smaller than I anticipated. That being said, after my encounter with him a few hours back, I would be more shocked if he wasn't Irish than if be was.

LOL... he made a few throws that actually connected and was getting up the field. I just didn't see a need to change it up there when Dayne was getting in done at the time.

It was going to be a QB sneak. I understand the call hes 6'5. its an easy TD. Lights are to bright for Dayne been saying this since sept.

It wasn't a QB sneak. Kelly said in the press conference it was a play action to Eifert.

Think back 2 years. D sucked, but Clausen kept our heads above water. Now QB is one of the huge question marks, still with no answer.

BK did say it was a fake to Wood and was gonna be a pop pass.

Thanks for the info. Suprised he took that Indiana comment the way he did. Almost too "cool" considering he was committed two days ago. Guessing a teasing sort of comment. Anyways how does he see more playin time at OU and Alabama after watching our game? Come to ND baby!

Really hope we're pushing for him. You have to think he could come in and after a year or two of learning the ropes really compete to be a multi-year starter. Does Gunner have a twitter?

We need him, maybe more than he needs us. If we are going to play with the big boys, we need the big boys. Barkley schooled us on what 5* guys do. Barkley owned that game. Kiel needs to own us.

I heard this Gunner kid is a real good QB prospect and was on campus this weekend. Thoughts?

I really want Gunner. Imagine if Andrew Luck was running this team... we'd be undefeated. Gunner has that kind of upside. Pleaaaaaaase commit.

Golson doesn't tickle your fancy?

Love Golson. He's almost a home boy to me so he'll always be one of my favorites. I have some hazy, alcohol induced blackouts in his home town LOL

He's also under 6' foot, maybe a 180 lbs? Hope he shines, (Hendrix too for that matter). Neither of those guys are 5* star talents to this point. QB play is costing us. it's the biggest single contribution to our 4-3 record (Yea, it's a team sport)

Keil has the measurables coming in. No guarantees but I want the best team on the field. If Golson or Hendrix beats him out, yeaaaah!

Tell us how you really feel. lol seriously though, I think he commits to us. no inside info either just a hunch. I'm sure he saw what we need and that's a "franchise" QB. No disrespect to Tommy either. I've seen one too many disconnect throws. WR does one thing, Tommy throws another thing. I didn't see that from Barkley nor Luck.
