On top of that, we played on our practice field which was painted checkered orange and green.

Then ND turned into my high school team and USC turned into Michigan.

I stand corrected. I wonder why this isn't on UND.com or II, weird. My guess getting away from blue (going to the darker one) and yellow (too close to maize), was to distance ourselves as much as we could from being like scUM's colors. At least I would take this reason all day. Muck Fichigan.

Plus the darker blue just makes the gold shine brighter, lol.
