They should let the ND bagpipe band lead them out of the tunnel for this game, would be pretty bad *** hearing some pipes coming from the tunnel before the team runs out

I know.... The Irish bagpipe band said that was the original idea at the AF concert.... they wanted the Irish Guard to come out with bagpipes but said 6 wouldn't cover the stadium sound wise...

I agree tho ... Hook up some mics on thos Bagpipes.... i love them to death and they are definatley cool to pump up the crowd...

Awesome idea. It would be like a battle march. That is some Braveheart sh*t right there. They could definitely mic those badboys up too. It is unique and keeps with tradition, yet it is still totally badass. Love it.

really tho when the leader of the bagpipe band said that i was like YES we need it in the game hopefully we can someday here the pipes they way ND wanted us to...

I love the idea of getting the Bagpipe band more involved, especially if they can work on some Celtic war hymns.

We could establish a second mascot to go along with it:

Get some jacked underclassmen to dress up like a Celtic warrior, give him a Claymore, and let him work the crowd. The football-as-war metaphor is both aprropriate and convenient for getting people pumped up. I've always felt that's a small advantage schools like USC, MSU, FSU, etc. have over us.

I say we have Zibby come back, be the leprechaun and literally square up and mash every team's mascot we face. Maybe return a punt or two?? Maybe??

I always liked Charlie but thought it was pretty awesome that he let Zibby take a few snaps at QB in the final game. I still love Weis for getting FLoyd, Tate, Te'o, and Clausen.

Never really disliked Charlie, just his approach. No defense. I honestly believe he is one of the best offensive coordinators in the history of football, whether college or NFL. But it takes a true "head coach" to be a champion at ND. Weis' offense sure was a lot of fun to watch though.

They were playing that "dynamite" song at the pep rally? Out of touch, don't know who that is, but I could see that song as our "jump around." gets me hyped, yo. Word.
