I'm glad they were held accountable...however, all things being considered I thought the football program got a heavier-handed punishment than they would have had they been a big-time school in an AQ conference. I still think the NCAA is a joke...I still think they play favorites...I still think they are the epitome of hypocrisy and worthless beaurocracy.

I wish that organization would be gutted, and a new regime take over...one that puts rules and regulations in place that actually REWARD schools for graduation rates, and clean programs with more scholarships...and slam all the cheaters equally hard....pipe dream I guess.

Out of the last couple of Recruting classes ...one of my wants was this kid. Something very special about him...maybe it is his bare feet weight lifting.

not alot of details...but you get a sense of what they did. They desrved to get some punishment...but this seems out of whack for what they did...

Apparently some football players slept on the floor and couches and it is considered impermissible benefits. I guess if you are going to crash at someones pad, might as well get your moneys worth and sleep on a yacht. Wait, there probably isn't a single yacht in Boise.

Yeah, and the "floors and couches" belonged to upperclassman. This investigation (at least the football aspect) was a complete joke. Boise also gets hit with a LOI. I think it is outrageous that Boise gets the LOI, but OSU does not.
