I also expect ND to move the ball at will against the same UM defense. Even a new D coach cannot do miracles with the same personnel. The only difference will be that UM D coach Greg Mattison will throw more blitz packages at your QB in hope that the Irish make more turnovers.

We played USF not UCF. Although both are pretty good. It wasn't so much the weather, but stupid mistakes that caused our turnovers.

Beware of our D. We can definitely move the ball better than last year too if people just catch the ball. We are better in all aspects. We just didn't play like it against USF.

I hope to see more respectable posts like this from UM fans and can't wait for the first night game at The Big House. Cheers.

mentioning Appalachian State will cause the guy to have nightmares for weeks, great job! This may be why i hate scUM fans the most. they are ignorant and somehow do not realize it. The second reason is they show up at ND games even when they dont play UM. For example there was a little cluster of scUM fans at the USF game wearing all their scUM s***. of course we ridiculed them and told them to they are f****** dumb.

Funny note, that's actually what we were drinking at our tailgate. Never had it before so we gave it a shot. Pretty decent beer, but out of the numerous "unique" beers we sampled, the best was a "banana bread beer" we tried.

Bahahaha. Watch yourself now. Don't get cocky yet. The Cards look much improved this year. Pete Lembo is a good guy (super friendly) and is changing lots of things at BSU. I know it was "just" IU, but that's a pretty legit win against a Kevin Wilson team. Wenning (the Ball State QB) played very, very well and is a lot more mobile than one may think. I think you beat BSU (and by double digits), but I'm not so sure it's as big a gimme as you may think.

ON our message board you'll see I've called for us not covering the spread. Chances are both teams will want to win running the ball and passing 20 times or less so that clock is going to fly. With BJ hurting his hamstring saturday, they are going to go even more vanilla than we did Saturday if that's possible. So I'm actually anticipating a tough earned win which will be the result of both offenses playing fairly even, but our defense making a few plays along with STs winning the field position battle and then our depth taking hold in the 4th quarter to put it away. This team as you all saw Saturday isn't on the same page in the passing game yet. Our top two WRs didn't play a down last year due to injury and were limited in Spring/Summer practice healing up so we're essentially in training camp passing wise right now.
