Not really... they can either come away with a loss like expected by most, or make a statement. I think we have more to lose becasue it will be an embarassment if we lose. It isn't that way for them because they are the underdog.

I see what you're saying, but a lot of their fans are expecting them to win the Big East. I bet they're pretty excited/nervous to see how their Bulls match up with a top-20 (pre-season) team. They haven't anticipated this much success in.... forever maybe?

And they have a lot more 'if's' than ND does.

Iv'e registered on thebullspen and let me tell you.. they are VERY confident that the bulls will win this game. They are convinced the Irish are over-looking them and BJ is going to have a monster game.

Whatever.. I'm nervous because Weis made me this way (although I realy liked the guy). But I also think BK is going to make a statement today.

I'm vey nervous. USF makes me a little nervous, but I'm more just anxious to see this team play and confirm they are who we think they are. On paper there should be nothing to get too concerned about, but I've had this feeling before that we were ready to make a move, only to have my chair moved out from under me. I just want to see this team play like we think they can once before I can be totally comfortable. Until that happens I'll be nervous.

This is exactly what I was worried about. Fluke play, fall behind, play the rest of the game from behind. I'm beyond anxious right now. We should be fine, but now every mistake for the rest of the game is magnified.
