Does anyone know if there will be a presser tomorrow morning or was the weekly conference replaced on the date Kelly announced Crist as the starter?

Crist was announced the starter last week, so I would assume there would be the weekly presser this week. But I don't know what time.

When Crist started last year the offense was still trying to figure out what were their strenghts were. Now they have full confidence in the offense.

Whats the new rule again? Was it just that you cant do anything taunting or unnecessary before you enter the endzone or they take the points away? All i remember is that it was something incredible stupid.

I believe it is if you celebrate at the 1 yard line it will be a 15 yard penalty from the 1 yard line and if you scored a TD the TD will be taken away.

I'm happy that a coach gets to watch the game to see if the HC should throw the challenge flag. Now I don't have to sit and say, "If he only saw the replay!"

Here's the wording...

Under the new rule, if a player makes a taunting gesture to an opponent on the way to scoring a touchdown, for example, the flag would nullify the score and penalize the offending team 15 yards from the spot of the foul. So if the gesture occurs at the 10-yard line, the offense would retain possession of the ball with the snap occurring at the 25-yard line.

Penalties for dead-ball misconduct fouls (for example, unsportsmanlike behavior after the player crosses the goal line) would continue to be assessed on the ensuing kickoff or the extra point/two-point conversion attempt.

I don't think that's stupid at all. It's not a celebration penalty. It's a taunting penalty. You have to be directly engaging an opponent with a gesture.

I don't want my players to do that. I may be blanking, but I don't think we would have had any points taken off the board last season.
