Just seen this, I guess it was just a normal exibition game when all hell broke loose. It's not a normal basketball brawl either. It includes chains and kicks.

I was suprised at how passive Georgetown was in the middle of a brawl. If I seen a teammate getting pummelled on the ground I would not just run and try to push the guy off. The guy would have a size 10 imprinted on the back of his head or side of his face. It may sound harsh but its even worse if a good friend of teammate is just on the ground against 3.

I can't imagine an American crowd would have been better if a Chinese team had come here, but that's not good sportsmanship regardless.

To me, sportsmanship is lost for the most part. Even in my adult soccer league, a lot of guys won't even shake hands after a game.

We need to go back to showing respect for eachother. Without that, we're all just a bunch of thugs.

I can't imagine letting one of my boys take a beating like that though. I'm not a big tough guy, but I'll never let one of my friends take a beating without doing everything to stop it.

For all of you talking how you would have jacked up somebody, here is something very SERIOUS to remember. These Georgetown players were in a COMMUNIST country!! The rules in the country give people ZERO liberties. Had a Georgetown player harmed a China citizen in some way, they could have ended up in a freaking Chinese prison.

I would definitely being at any of my teammates aid and assisting them to get out of the situation, however I am not sure I would have been throwing down like I would in any American arena.

Remember, China just imprisoned a bunch of news reporters who reported the truth about their recent high speed train crash. These reporters did not follow Gov't required reporting.

I for one say we pull every piece of business we have in China and watch them wilt. They are going to be the Soviets of our generation!!

This is pathetic. This was a professional team playing a college team, in an obvious superly biased and tanted refereed game (57 free throws to 15...c'mon). These "professional" commie sons of bitches beat the hell out of a young college man, 4 vs. 1 and 5 vs. 1 at some points.
