For those of you who did not already know, the ND Football blog One Foot Down has moved to SBNation.

One Foot Down - For Notre Dame Fighting Irish Fans

We are replacing the old SBN Irish site Rakes of Mallow.

However, we are keeping a couple of their writers in an effort to showcase the best Rakes has to offer and give Irish fans the best possible site we can.

That includes keeping a focus on ND basketball, as well as the wonderful formation breakdowns from past games, in addition to what we already offer at One Foot Down.

I hope many of you become part of our community, and join in on the fun!

No, we don't break recruiting news, at least not at the moment.

We're a blog that covers ND football, basketball, college football, and other stuff.

I believe One Foot Down can fairly be described as a blog, right Rocket89? Whereas IE is a message board. That is the distinction I would make. There are a handful of ND football blogs I visit regularly during the season, but I have visited IE just about every day since I discovered it (well before I started posting).

By the way, I always want to refer to you by your proper name here, but I try not to in case you want to maintain some degree of anonymity on this board.

Though it's pretty easy to connect the dots for anyone who cares to try.

One Foot Down started an excellent tactical discussion of what ND's offense is trying to accomplish and why it sputtered down the stretch last year. You can read the first installment here.

Highly recommended. Will help you understand (1) why having a mobile QB is crucial in the spread, and (2) what some of ND's glaring yet infrequently discussed weaknesses are.
