Yea he got an offer earlier than he expected. He was told after junior day to keep in touch and he said the offer came as a bit of a suprise. He would be a very nice pick up on the offensive line.

Harrell plays TE in a Wing T Offense. His OLine coach, a 9 year NFL veteran, is working with him to ready him to play OT at the next level as he his team doesn't pass block.

... “It’s different for them (his parent's) going to a big-time school like a Notre Dame or a Michigan and sitting in the head coach’s office. ... Not taking anything from an ACC school at all, but there’s just so much tradition behind a lot of these big-time schools. It’s pretty crazy the contrast between the two. It’s kind of eye-opening.”

He and the family say all the right things about education. He appears to back that up as he's already taken the SAT and ACT.

Will take some more visits and then make a decision.

Add Auburn and Stanford to his offer list.
