Thanks for the podcast. Really informative and puts a little smile on your face when you hear JC predict ND for Davis. It would be awesome to put 2 solid defensive recruiting classes back to back that compliment each other. Can't wait for noon tomorrow.

1:30 now.

from an earlier post, but this sounds like they're telling him they're putting him on the outside.

Thanks, It would be great to see him move inside, but the thought of Davis and Ishaq coming from the outside is insane.

don't forget about Councell and Rabasa coming in the fall...and the possibility of landing odenigbo...we could be absolutely stacked at LB, which is why i wouldn't mind seeing noor in the middle.

I think I heard that they were thinking of taking Rabasa and putting him in the middle. They have so much talent and few positions they want to find ways to get them all on the field at once and I think that is what they are planning to do.

Man that podcast gets me pumped! 65-70% is a pretty good shot! Also great to hear the national view on ND being back to be an A list recruiting school. Also encouraging words about Ferguson as well.

Also there is a Lou Smogyi pod cast on that page from Wednesday. It starts at around the 35 min mark.

I realize that... this isn't my first rodeo, but dang near every recruit in the country talks about where and how the coaching staffs plan to use them. It's not directly from the coaches mouth, but that wasn't what I was implying. I was just saying that I havent heard any insight on how the coaching staff plans on utilizing them.

I can't find an explicit reference, but I'm pretty sure that ND wants him at the Cat with Ishaq.

i've heard the same thing, but I don't think anything is set in stone.

Why doesn't anyone just tell the truth and say they have no clue where Noor will go?

No one knows for sure about this kid. He could pull for us, Florida or perhaps somewhere else. I guess we will have to wait and see. I will say I bet he goes to Florida, (although I hope he comes to ND). I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

If he commits to Florida I still like our chances at landing him down the road. UF is going to struggle this year(dont all 1st year programs?) and ND isn't.
And we will always have the Mendoza School. Thats not changing!
So.... Please watch what you type if Friday doesn't go our way.
ND will be playing in primetime 4 times this year. We will land our fair share of studs.

Didn't you see Davis' quote? He wants to commit and keep it.

I did read it. So if he doesn't choose ND...... what? Give up? Trash the guy? Cry about it?

I usually shed a few tears, followed by heavy drinking.

but I wont have to worry about that tomorrow...

Question: would Noor Davis ever play ILB or is he strictly an OLB prospect?

He is being recruited for outside but xan play inside. They like how flexible he is.

Also seems Gator sites are saying ND, Irish sites are saying Florida.
No one knows

I still say Irish

If he doesn't want to be recruited anymore, then the honorable thing would be to back off and leave him alone.

I'm on pins & needles. Gators sites said he made a statement to the effect that making a college decision is not a 4-5 year decision but a 40-50 year decisions. That's what out coaches say. I'm optomistic and excited, but I'm going to brace myself for him going elsewhere. Just not to USC or UF.

The 40 year decision thing is always good for us. Hopefully, he truly values this.
