I'm going to keep my fingers crossed on this kid. It would be awesome to have him added along with Shepard. It would definently help with our depth at the corner position and both of these guys seem more than legit.

Anyone Hear anything on him?

Scout has him at 4* #6 corner

This DB class can be insane! Scout has him at 6-2 also, any chance he plays saftey?

Had named ND as his favorite but the staff has backed off a bit. Wonder why?

I do not doubt you one bit, but where did you see/hear that the staff has backed off him a bit?

I know somebody else followed up this post by saying it must be grades or off the field issues, but I have a hard time believing it would be because of grades. This kid is an elite talent, and this staff has shown in their short tenure at ND that they will stick with kids through grades issues and help them out in any way they can...see Davaris Daniels just last year. He is still over a year away from graduating H.S., so unless he is borderline failing out of school I can't imagine the coaches backing off because of grades at such an early stage in his recruitment?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

i agree...i would think if the staff knew that they would really put the hammer down and start to go after this kid even harder, something just doesn't smell right here?

I never said it was grades or off field issue, but reading around it seems like the staff is higher on a couple other guys who they think they can land
