I'm with BGIF on concerns about split responsibility in coaching the secondary, but I'll bet Kelly has got that handled in terms of compatibility and decision-making structure. The VERY positive upside of this should show when the young DB guns show up and have to have a crash course in college DB play. That extra intensity of learning technique and "tricks" hopefully will get them ready to replace our senior studs when they disappear after the season and we look to 2012.
On another speculative note: it was mentioned earlier that Tuitt might not be ready since he's only coming in the summer. I'm not so sure of that. Tuitt is a bull-rusher mainly, an unstoppable freight train aimed at the quarterback. His earlier weight-lifting statistics, plus his goals, put him into an elite class of force producers already. I would not at all be surprised if Tuitt literally bowls over everyone in his path, physically and psychologically, so often, that Diaco tells Kelly that he has to get him on the field.
As far as wide receiver is concerned, this will be an unpopular opinion, but I believe that a senior John Goodman will prove to be quite a solid player at that position if Daniel Smith or Davaris Daniels don't blow us away and grab it.
