Am I mistaken or did UConn just go to the locker room with a timeout. If so, Im a little confused as to why that's the case.

Good game to watch. Maybe the majority of you can dry your tears now about the officiating. Awesome game by two awesome teams.

Pretty Mature.

It's sports. I'm pretty sure we would say the same thing towards Lane Kiffin and USC if we beat them on the road, yes?

And did anyone else see Doug Gottlieb giving us love at the end of the game? Almost had a heart attack.

Its different though. We are all share ND football as our team and that is the bond that we have on this site even though we dont know anyone presonally on here. It just annoyed me on top of a tough loss during a frustrating UCONN string of games.

True. Im not sure why Kemba gave the ball up that late. He was flustered obviously because he passed the ball to Beverly <------- Horrid 3 point shooter. Still an awesome game and ND is set up nicely in the Big East tournament. As long as Pitt of Syracuse don't win, I'm good.

The referees were actually very consistent all game. I didn't have one complaint.

Hopefully Nova can pull out a win.

Kneutered: wakey, wakey! You can turn your TV on now.

As for me: I'd take a nap but my heart's beating too fast and there's too much adrenaline coursing through my veins.

It was 4 or 5 people from both sides.

Awesome game? Two awesome teams?

My team won but I wouldn't call an opponent loosing the ball with the game on the line awesome. Nor the shot selection/clock management by Walker or Abro in the closing moments.

UConn was 4-18 from the arc, 22%. Awesome?

ND was 8-14 from the line, 57%. Again awesome.

Bonehead decision by Brey. Bonehead play by Hansbrough.

I believe there were Timeouts available so add that.

Despite a couple of big runs by both teams (kind of NBA script) the gain was exciting but neither team fits the word awesome.

Did NDOM just hack BGIF's account?

It was an awesome game by two awesome teams. I didn't say either team PLAYED awesome so you can point out all the flaws in the game that you'd like. Any game in the Big East (best conference in basketball) that comes down to a less than 5 point win, qualifies as awesome to me. You game reasons why you didn't think it was awesome, heres some on why I will still consider it awesome:

Uconns 15-0 run was countered by a double digit run by ND without their best player.

Two of the best players in the Big East and country, played amazing.

It was a back and forth game throughout.

You can point to shooting percentages and decisions made all you'd like and I'll agree that the teams could have played better. That doesnt take away from the fact that the game in itself was awesome.

Im hoping we can talk about Irish wins in the latter months of the year as well. September-December talks of Irish wins will make me very happy as well.

Sigh ... March Madness here in MN tends to involve dealing with wet, heavy snow and the madness of icehole drivers who think that four wheel drive exempts them fromthe laws of physics.

"Through the Fog" I have a vague recollection of short skirts.
