No doubt, the "soccer sucks" thing is as played out as the people who say "baseball is boring" or "you only have to watch the last 2 minutes of a basketball game." But, haters gonna hate.

Arsenal versus Barca? You should have gone with more than three goals for the over/under!

Arsenal's defense has been suspect at times, and I think the quality of Barca should give them plenty of chances. On the other side, the Barca defense is without Puyol, who is a real general in the back for them. Arsenal certainly can manufacture some chances with Cesc and especially if Nasri is in the starting XI. His form has been phenomenal as of late. Should clear three goals in my estimation.

While there are no guarantees for more than three, in this sport, I like my chances with the over. I'll take it and my slice of humble pie if I'm wrong in addition to the loss of my precious vbucks.

Not saying you cant get higher than 3 goals as the o/u but that does not occur as often.

The over on the 3 goals is actually a slight underdog. Good value for you based on your own analysis.

Also, I think in real life, if the total goals is 3, it is a push. But this is not real life, so a push here will be a loss because there is no refund option.

Couple that with my observations in the previous post, the over seems a good bet. I can certainly be very long, but betting the over allows me to still cheer for Arsenal and not have to follow my head with a bet on Barca. There is a method to my madness.

Barca has Xavi on the bench in the 4-3-3 and Messi as the CF with Villa on the right, according to Fox Soccer. Some other outlets have him in the starting lineup, which I think is most likely. They have Messi as a faux no. 9 playing through the middle, which is an interesting formation to say the least.
