On a less sarcastic note.... coaching changes happen all the time and at every school. There is no telling who any team will have from year to year. Also, someone should add a big NOT to the title so people don't get the wrong impression.

Maybe Weis floated the rumor to get Alford a raise at ND? I'm half kidding, but I hope it works if that's what happened. The man deserves a raise. He was a pleasure to watch here in Louisville, even though he coached the dirty Birds.

Agreed. It seems like some people just use twitter to spark the controversy or be the first to break a story. With twitter, nobody holds these people accountable and credibility goes by the wayside. The shame is that a lot of people think the BS they say is true.

Anything is possible but why would a great coach go to Fla over Notre Dame on the cusp of starting to win. If it was a position raise or $$$ raise its possible but I dont think you go to Fla over Notre Dame when all is equal in your pay and job. $$$$ may be the answer but prestiage certainly is not. Say what you will about Fla being neuvo riche in college footbal- it still aint NOTRE DAME. This guy could be at Notre Dame as long as He wants.
