About half way down, Prestwood is rumored not to like it at FSU looking to come to ND. Surprise.

Bruce Lee actually helped Norris train in the early 70s during Chuck's 6 year world heavyweight champion reign...he never lost a fight...I gotta say that Bruce probably had alot to do with that.

Bruce Lee never really fought in any sanctioned events.
Alot of Hong Kong rooftop fights as a teenager.

But dud was legit...his body was like warm marble.

Give his book a read...quite interesting blend of Martial Arts knowledge and philosophy.

I don't see any way Prestwood leaves. No way F$U would let him transfer here after the Aaron Lynch saga. If they were to release though, I could definitely see it. It's not like he would play as a frosh anyways so there is nothing to lose sitting out a year that he would redshirt.

If he's going to do it he better do it soon though. I have a completely unfounded hunch that we get Niklas as our last recruit to round out the class and that he plays OT.

The reason I ask, is because he most likely wouldnt start at ND nor FSU in year 1 (imo), so if he can still participate in practice and get his school paid for... what difference does transferring even make for him?

I may be wrong, but I believe transfers (who are released) simply sit a year but are on scholarship and can practice. So it would make no difference. Transfers who are NOT released I believe have to pay their own way at any FBS school for a year or transfer to a lower level to receive a schollie, but can practice regardless. So in any scenario he would be allowed to practice but he would not be allowed to receive a schollie if not released... making the transfer very improbable if Jimbo decided to say "**** you Irish."

haha yeah seriously. That website is so Busch league and while I don't think Prestwood will transfer (for the reasons listed above about Jimbo giving the ixnay) 95% of the time when there is smoke there is fire. They totally blew off the Lynch thing and had mods posting all kinds of untruths and lies about the situation... just really makes you wonder about the people running the site and how much you can trust their "sources."

Yeah, that happened for that very reason. Kiffin straight up lied to Seantrel and told him he didn't have to worry about any sanctions. That's why Seantrel didn't sign the LOI for so long. and then once the sanction hit HARD he was incredibly pissed. Kiffin knew he was better off releasing him then having the **** storm in the press. In this case, I don't see much reputation lost if Jimbo blocks Prestwood. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he already told him behind closed doors that he won't release him to ND if he applies for a transfer. Only time will tell.

For the last time:

Prestwood shouldn't be compared to Seantrel as it didn't happen anywhere near the same way. Prestwood just decommitted and went away. No problem.

Seantrel paraded around like a presidential candidate and played half decent against us at the bowl game. He'll be a good player too.

Nobody compares with CMart, nobody, except Jalen Rose robbing a store for some gum and smokes while at Michigan doing the Fab 5 run. Crazy!

Not that I think he is asking for a release, but I just do not see it. If a recruit is not happy at where he is, why would you stop someone from leaving like that? Just cause he dislikes ND? Wow just think of the press storm that would cause. (he he just b4 signing day too)

I'm not argueing, I don't think he is going to leave. I am just wondering why anything like that would happen (I understand if its a team you play - but not 1 you dont)

As people I am not comparing them, just as students wanting a transfer.
