The confirmation I see is one tweet saying that Tuitt's HS coach has informed ND that he is gone. If true, well played GT....

So are we going with bag man theory or peer pressure theory? If GT pulled this off by getting his teammate and then pulling out all of the stops I am incredibly impressed.

I don't see anything on II that says Stephon is GT. But I do see that we are #7 and it lists Stephon as a verbal still.

I say ND doesn't give up on Stephon!! Coach Kelly still has an in home visit and I say he uses it. I don't see why he would decommit from us??

Can't say I blame him. The thought of playing a game against duke in a half empty stadium really does sound grand

It is on there, he is on GT's verbal list as a solid GT Verbal. Too bad, I really like this kid and what I thought his ethics were. Home played a too big a role I guess. ND will be a higher ranked team in years to come. It would have been nice to have him, but with visits to Auburn and GT after our verbal it should have been expected.

And listening to him talk at the Army game, I just had a feeling he wasn't committed.

The final steak was when Chase gave his commitment, the writing was on the wall. Especially when they asked him to gain 15 pounds and be a run stopper--I knew Stephon was gone.

Good luck, I wish you were Irish.

This is the whackiest "psychology" situation that I've experienced in a long time. Here is a player who has been RECRUITING guys for us to play along side him, is an apparent success at doing so [or at least aiding the staff's efforts], manifestly likes the university and his teammates, and then.... What the heck sort of parallel reality did I just fall into??? Or maybe I've just been cosmically punked.
