Heard it was next week? I have no idea, although people on ISD are saying next week. He just needs to get it out of the way and come home.

Go Irish!!!

Well, the writing is on the wall for him. He has already said he is IRISH and just checking around. IF he misses then he misses. But I still think he will play for Notre Dame.

I honestly cannot see this fine young man being anything other than Irish. We have all the missing ingrediants now for a National Championship caliber defense. He is an important part of that and after watching him play with Lynch and what the two of them do together on a football field, it's just a scary, scary thought about how awesome they will be together in college. I think Stephon understands what's going on and he will make the final decision here shortly. With the addition of Williams and Lynch, he understands that he is going to be a part of something that will be truly special. I am not worried at all about Tuitt.

If he was Irish a week ago, before ND landed two defensive studs in this class (which Tuitt was presumably a significant factor in - AAA Game), then he sure as sh*t is Irish now, after ND landed two more defensive studs.

I don't mean to sound pompous or presumptuous, but I think it's obvious that something magical is happening here. That's part of what is drawing a lot of these kids here this year. Tuitt realizes the same. He's not going anywhere but South Bend.

In the article that had Ms. Lynch talking, she mentioned the trio of Lynch, Williams and Tuitt being together and playing together. She mentioned how those kids bonded at the AAA game and that those were the kind of kids she wanted Aaron to be around. I think he is all Irish now with those two committing this weekend. Those three have to be texting and talking to each other about the possibilities of them playing together like in the AAA game.

Tuitt is at GT this weekend. He was supposed to go next weekend but his bball game got canceled so he moved it up. Also, he wanted his teammate to check out GT, and his teammate finally got offered so reportedly they went together.

i just wish he'd cancel his GT trip. what's the point in going if he's all irish? i understand wanting to cover all his bases so he can feel more confident in his decision, but i think he's just wasting his time and GT's......unless of course he changes his mind.

EDIT: ooops, nevermind if he's already there.

He's an 18 year old Georgia boy that will be in downtown ATL on an all expense paid weekend as a prime time football recruit, with one of his buddies. I think he's all Irish but that kind of weekend is really hard to pass up!

Anyone's memory long enough to remember how Stephon was a GT shoein, and then they turned him off? We signed him.

Anyone remember how he said before he visited Auburn that a team would have to really wow him, absolutely knock him over? And that he reported his weekend was "okay"?

Anyone also remember how this weekend at GT was for a ton of recruits, and how he stated that he preferred smaller get-togethers?

I'm not worried about losing Tuitt. The chance to be a part of an All-Star defense has got to be way too appealing for this kid. If he does pick GT, I hope he enjoys it. GT doesn't seem to be a program on the rise so if he picks them it must be a real comfort factor.

In the unfortunate event we do lose him we still have Kona, KLM and a real beast in Anthony Rabasa coming in. Diaco's got these kids playing fundamentally sound defense and Longo has them in 4th quarter shape.

Tuitt or no Tuitt the atmosphere is changing around Notre Dame Football. Of course, with Tuitt it will be even MORE exciting. I'm a Yankee fan and this class is giving me that good ol' Steinbrenner spending spree feeling (in no way insinuating that any spending is going on) ; )

ESPN is reporting that a 3 star OL that visited GT this weekend just committed. So I'm assuming Tuitt hasn't switched commitment early after his visit. A good sign that he was not instantly impressed?

They also have received commitments from two 2 star athletes, taking them to 21 total commits.

Well I dont like the sound of this

From his teammate:

"I have been filling Stephon's ear since I decided to commit that he needs to come to Tech. I think right now it is very close and he is stalling on decommitting from Notre Dame, but I think in the end he will also become a Yellow Jacket with me."

That will suck but if it happens we still had to huge pick ups this weekend. He must not want to win.

So they offer a kid to get to Tuitt..... smart move. I will be absolutely shocked if he decommitts but they are certainly pulling out all of the stops it seems to get to him.
