Not necessarily – The Irish stub their toe even once and all hell breaks loose. We'd be vilified, pilloried and thrown in the sty with the likes of USC, NC, Auburn, SMU, etc.

He posted on his facebook yesterday sayiing he wished he could change who he is. This morning Momma posted a supportive comment to him then posted a comment to all media and fans on hers. She asked for her and him to be respected thru this process, to be left alone. She thanked ND and FSU fans that have been supportive and asked thos who haven't to stop. She also says don't assume what you don't know. It will all come out at the end amd when beverythings over they will be willing to answer all questions.

I hear ya, but at this point there isn't really anything that will or can happen till Friday. It's ND all the way. Miami and Florida are backup plans in case things hit a snag at ND

My thoughts exactly. You have to think were gonna see some improvement physically this spring with what Kelly said after the Sun Bowl. I'm excited to see what comes out of it. Especially for the freshman who likely have never done anything like it.

I get the feeling that even if we do land him, he will be hard to keep happy. It just worries me a bit seeing how everything has gone up to this point. I just hope he makes the decision and is happy with it in the long run.

I have to disagree with you on this point. We have to land the big potential guys on the defensive side of the ball. Kelly will make the offense run with 3*star guys and there is nothing wrong with the 3*'s at all. Defense in college football is very important especially to ND. We have been able to score with the very best but have not been able to stop them until half way in to this season. With his talent and hard work and Tuitt on the other side that is going to put alot of pressure on the O-lines. If you have to double team them to and have Nix at the NT spot and you bring 2 linebackers on a blitz you will probably win that battle. Those to guys have great power,agility,and are very smart. And when the defense gets credit as a whole unit it will be hard for any of the players to be unhappy when you are winning.

Hopefully Aaron's recruiting can end come friday. After reading all of the posts about what people have put on facebook and said on other message boards my heart goes out to the Lynch family. Once Aaron committs to ND, the whole ND nation is GUNNA BE BEAST! 1 more day to go.

Not really sure what your post had to do with mine and what you were disagreeing with. I was talking about activities outside of football. If he is so back and forth up to this point in his recruiting, I hope that he is happy with the decision he makes in terms of the school he chooses in the long run.

I think i speak for everyone at IE when i say Lynch is our most important uncommitted recruit (just look at the views and post counts in the span of a week)

Is anyone else kind of perplexed that Kelly is visiting with Carlisle tomorrow, and not with Lynch? I mean, I want Carlisle here too,and think he'd be great for us....but I think Lynch is a MUCH bigger priority.Or maybe Kelly already knows something we dont?.....

I am sure that after meeting with Amir and Atkinson BK will hopping back on a plane to get back to meet with Aaron and Alice. This visit with Amir had been planned for a while, he can not pull out now and basically throw in the towel for Amir to be there right when Aaron gets there.

Lynch should be there over the weekend because it is an OV. Kelly will fly out Friday to meet with Amir, then visit the Atkinson home on Saturday, returning on Sunday.

Kelly could be there to greet Lynch when he arrives but will likely be there in time to talk to him before it is all over.
