As it’s been reported around the interweb, Lynch will be visiting campus this weekend, and has narrowed his schools down to Notre Dame and… well, Notre Dame. The Irish look to be in very good shape and with the Spring semester starting next Monday, and Lynch still slated to enroll early at Notre Dame.

Dude thank god your here to clean things up. Except for the fact that her post that took place "about an hour ago" that starts with "Really......" is a response to an FSU fan that wrote on Aaron's wall bashing him. They had a convo that she erased a little more than an hour ago because he was bashing Aaron. So before you call someone out on posting inaccurate information, know facts. Dont correct people with information your unclear of. This is not my first time on this board. And as to FSU staff, the biggest issue on MANY twitter accounts is that he was lied to about their intentions for Aaron. Appreciate your help though bro.....

This board and other Irish boards said things like Lynch is a POS, should grow up and be a man, is another Chris Martin, Traitor, and more. Some said to hell with him, would not take him back even if he begged. Made worse by having momma Lynch on here and some personal attacks on her as well.

Bashing recruits in general is small but to call outs FSU fans for saying the same thing we were not too long ago makes us look like hypocrites.

Alice didn't say anything about FSU, although she's obviously talking about Aaron's recruitment in the posts.

I'm really not sure how reading her facebook is beneficial in this. Adding people as friends on facebook you don't know has always confused me.

We're the heavy favourites at this point, but I'm still concerned about the fact that five pages ago I asked if anyone had any good source saying Aaron had been accepted for EE and the only positive response I got was "he has to be our we wouldn't be pursuing him". If he can't EE here then this is a circus with no end in sight. We need to get him in class on Monday and rooming with Nix and just settle him down.

Fact: Irish Envy posters are in love with Aaron Lynch. 60+ pages in 3 days. Numerous people staying up till 2 in the morning waiting for a decision.

Fact: Lynch+Tuitt= Dominance. I dont care what year they see the field together, when it happens.... WE GUNNA BE BEAST!

Fact: Many Irish Envy posters were very critical of Aaron and his mother. Hopefully, as we watch this unfold and see how poorly FSU fans are representing their school, we learn a lesson from this.

I used to think the same thing, but after reading the crap from the FSU fans (and mods even) we were a LOT more respectful. It's really night and day. Especially considering the difference in the two decommitments.... they have no right to even be upset.

Here is the other thing... I decided to look at some Florida boards for an "objective" analysis of what's going on. From what I gather, he wanted to go to ND, his mom wanted him to go to ND, his HS coach really pushed him towards FSU. He always had reservations about the academics and then when we had some mid-season struggles... that plus the pressure of his coach pushed him into the "safe" decision of FSU. It appears FSU coaches promised him he was "their guy" and they wouldn't be recruiting any other DEs with the good crop they already have committed. HOWEVER, they have still been recruiting 3 other blue chip DEs HARD. He felt like he couldn't trust the staff and also realized (again) that he was letting too many people in his ear.

That was a UF guy on some site's take on the whole situation and it seems very plausible.

Also we should remember that many people who post on this board never trashed Aaron and certainly not his Mom. IE is hardly monolithic in its opinions/emotionalism. Yes, "statistically" we could have done better, but without heavy mod censorship only we ourselves can curb our knuckleheadism. To those who can't help wanting to bash recruits, I'd suggest making little notes on hardcopy instead and making a scrapbook. In thirty years it will be a great read.

Well I wouldn't put my life on it but it sounds good. Irish33 posted on DD about this a bit (The poster that has been linked with Rabasa and Lynch etc.). .
