Ok I am back in the game.....double shot espresso chased down with a 5 hour energy....caught up...same place we were last night at 1 am MST!
Cuz i'm a looser and reading thru their boards again. One poster said graduating from ND doesn't open any doors for your future. Said we don't compare to the "public ivy" schools such as Stanford, Duke, or Michigan. MICHIGAN really? Thats a joke.
"All This Talk About Notre Dame Being So Much Better Than FSU is such BS. Unless you go to an Ivy or a “public Ivy” like Stanford or Duke or maybe Michigan, where you went to undergrad barely registers with employers. Being a Notre Dame grad doesn’t open up major doors in and of itself."
^no i think some of them are just complete idiots.
hahahahaha I graduated with a 3.0 and am making 6 figures in the worst economy of the past 75 years right now ONLY because of Notre Dame and the alumni base.
And Stanford and Duke are both private... am I misunderstanding the term public ivy?
Seriously, the Alumni and network connections at ND are insane......I am sure Duke, Stanford and MANY other schools are very good too but FSU is not in the same class......anyone who makes that statement is just ignorant...
Ignorant is the correct word, like someone posted earlier on that forum " why would you go to the golden dome when you came come to FSU and get golden dome".....gotta admit that one was actually pretty solid
probly cuz theu went to FSU^no i think some of them are just complete idiots.

Are you referring to recruiting or my wife?
A) Wonderful comment. Not willing to committ my undying love for you.
B) I am sick and fu@kin tired of people confusing recruits position or not understanding the difference between a 4-3 and a 3-4, per position.
We have four extremely good defensive end recruits in this class if Lynch committs, and none of them are Ishaq Williams, Anthony Rasaba, or Ben Councell.
A 4-3 is an even front defense, and a 3-4 is an odd front defense. It sounds stupid to make the point that simply, but that is what three quarters of the posters on this thread are missing.
One defensive end may not want to play on a 3-4 because he thinks that he will spend all of his time protecting his linebackers, out of the limelight, but once ND began running the 3-4 correctly, if you noticed, (especially against SC and Miami) Kapron-Moore and Johnson started really cleaning up.
i refuse to sit on here all day as i did yesterday. i'm going out, if something happens, send a smoke signal.....
oh and ya i do at some point if he comes, apparrnently thr final deadline is wensday, anybody wanna stay up for the next 36 hours?
Several outlets, including warchant.com, are reporting standout DE Aaron Lynch has decommitted from FSU after talking to #NotreDame coaches late last night. He is considering both schools. Deadline to be an early enrollee at FSU is Wed. They started classes last Tues.
Good call. To further simplify, an "odd" defense has a noseguard over center, whether head up, or strong or weak shade. An "even" defense has no noseguard.
I got into a discussion about how to stop the option against Army with a poster on another site, and he recommended an even front. I'll be damned if the Irish didn't run an even front and stuffed Army.

So did he officially decommit from F$U?
So did he officially decommit from F$U?
Yes. But until he gets to campus Friday, anything can happen.
Guys, I've probably deleted about 50 posts from this thread in the last 20 hrs alone. Members and non-members alike come to this thread for Lynch news, multiple times an hour even, so can we try to keep it to that? There's posts here on the Colts game, vbucks, personal stories that have nothing to do with Lynch or the wait, etc etc - and there are plenty of places on this site for that. Most of you guys have kept it on point, and thanks for that. (And some posts have been deleted b/c they quote previously deleted posts)
I've also had to delete some posts telling Lynch, well, I won't even repeat it...but let's keep the focus on this thread to Lynch and keep it respectable when the news does come out. Thanks...
Guys from what I hear from several FSU alumni including, an ex player they don't expect or want Lynch back. Not sure how things were left but they say he's ours to loose. Take that for what it's worth, I just hope he decides with his heart, and our posters have more class than what I've seen from the FSU folks.
