*It seems all Lynch threads are locked, so I apologize for bringing this up, (Admin - Feel free to nuke this thread if you feel bringing this up is innapropriate) but I have been seeing on another board, chatter about Lynch ending up at Notre Dame when it is all said and done. No reasoning, no explanations. Just comments from (albeit long time and credible) a poster.

Now, while I am not holding my breath... he is suppose to early enroll at FSU and classes start tomorrow. If he doesnt show up to class tomorrow he is technically not early enrolled (right?) ... who is buying it?

Is it smoke we are smelling? Or is that just the dumpster fire smoldering?

I just can't see it. I would accept him back with open arms if it were to somehow happen.
Even though I was one of the first people to jump on him after he decommited, he is still a huge talent.
the only thing ive really wondered was if he had such a special connection to ND,like we all do, and was so enamored with the place that he spread his grandfather's ashes there, what could possibly have changed his mind? It's just always puzzled me.

Already signed his LOI.

I have been told that this is not true. EEs aren't bound until they take a class. They sign their NLOI the same day as everyone else. I don't believe that Aaron has done anything different than what Ishaq has done at all of the schools in his final list. From what I have been told, they are not bound until they are actually attending the school.

Thats at least... what I have heard.

Lynch is not coming to ND. He is an EE and it would be against the rules for ND to even contact him at this point.

This is what Gene Williams told me. Case closed, close thread mods.

This was brought up on the other site. Someone commented that an EE acts as a letter of intent, so that is why all early enrollments are often put up as "signed LOI". Lynch, is technically not early enrolled until tomorrow.

I'm not saying that I even believe this rumor to be true (dont kill the messenger), I tried to point that out in my first post.

Feb 3rd is the earliest day you can sign a letter of intent. Going to class binds you but there is not early signing period in college football.

Booker was coming to come to ND, but changed his mind after Lemming announced he was going to ND the day before.
