I was at the game on Friday and have always wanted to meet some of the players. So I proceeded to the Raddisson after the game to see if I could catch up with a few of them. We're hanging out in the bar when some of the players start arriving. I was really hesitant to approach them as it was only family that was there. I quickly glance up and notice Manti and I tell myself "F** it, I can't pass up this oppurtunity!". So I go up and ask for his autograph. Then I congratulated him on a great game and season. I ended up getting TJ, Trevor and Hendrix. The highlight of my night, was getting Rudolph, Harrison and Allen's signatures!

I sparked up a little conversation with Armando and asked him how his injury was coming along. He said very well and I asked if he was ready for the combine, and he replied yes. I wish I would've talked a little more to all the players but honestly, I was in awe. I had my idols right in front of me.

I have to say, I was very impressed once I approached them and they were very willing to sign. I've seen/heard that some college players might act "stuck up" and not willing to. My dad's favorite player was TJ. Seemed very humble and shy at times.

Take it for what it's worth...I asked Rudolph "We're going to see you in an Irish uniform next year right?" to which he replied, "You sure are".

Definitely a great night and a memorable one!

That's pretty cool man.

I saw Quinn one Saturday night at Nicks Patio following a game along with his sister & AJ Hawk. I wanted a couple autographs but I didn't want to be rude so I never asked.

Regretted it ever since.

You should have approached them. Brady and Laura are really nice. I have never met AJ but when he is in town he will hang out with Brady and the neighborhood kids. They are great with the kids!

Saw a few of the players at the airport very early the am after the game-very cool. Talked to Crist, Teo, Toma, and Massa and all were very approachable and polite.

I was one of those who thought of them as "idols" and people who were larger than life, but I have gotten to know a few players. I've talked to Hughes, Hendrix, and Kendall Moore III on numerous occassions and it has always kind of put me "in awe" about how real they really are. I use to think of them as larger-than-life figures, but they really are just kids. They don't really know how loved they are and how we think of them. They're just going out and having fun.
