hell yeah steve. i heard the news last night and i tried to explain how great this was for the orioles. she played along and said thats great even though she was completely lost on the subject. im proud of her in her pregnant state that she has the tolerance for my sports obsessions. our minor leagues are loaded with young talented arms and with weiters coming up the bats will only get better. not to mention the draft is in a couple weeks so hopefully they are smart and grab another quality player. LETS GO O'S!!!!!!! BIRD TOWN BABY!

this year we will be in last in the al east yes but next year i think we will be in 3rd and mayb e the year after that we will look at challenging for the al east leader. who knows maybe next year we could challenge. we have a lot of really young talent and it is too hard to say who will pan out. but the fact that we have any talent is something for me to be excited about. either way the yankees should be dominating every aspect of baseball with the amount of money they spend every year.

4th win in a row tonight. David Hernandez goes 5 in winning his major league debut. Nolan Reimold hit another homerun and Luke Scott hit two homeruns.

Four Oriole pitchers (Koji Uehara, Brad Bergesen, Jason Berken and David Hernandez) have made their major league debut this season and all 4 have won. First time a team has done that since 1900.
