Harbaugh will have a few options in the NFL:
San Francisco joined Minnesota, Dallas, and Denver as teams who have already fired their head coach. Likely adding to that list:
1. Carolina will not extend John Fox's contract
2. Cleveland will lose to Pittsburgh next week making Mangini 10-22 in two seasons. ESPN is already calling for his head

3. Cincinnati also is not likely to extend Marvin Lewis's (60-66-1 since 2003) expiring contract
4. Houstan has posted a 1-8 record over its last 9 games, the collapse will probably cost Kubiak his job

5. Miami's loss to Detriot yesterday could have been the last straw for Tony Sparano

6. Tennessee is 1-7 in their last 8 putting the longest tenured coach in the NFL, Jeff Fisher (1994) on the hot seat
7. San Diego missed the playoffs with their loss to the Bengals (who looked better without Owens and Ochocinco) and Norv Turner is now going to be the newest coach talked about on the hot seat.
With the 9 to 11 vacancies created, it will be interesting to see if Cowher or Gruden come down from the broadcasting booths. With the variety of opportunities at each location, I hope one is appealing to Harbaugh as it will be in NDs best interest if he bolts for the NFL.
