Big weekend, like to see all the commits with a guy who we just offered and found a way to come visit on short notice (Ray) and a guy who has been thinking about looking around (Councell).

So I updated the thread and threw in a link I was just looking at about recruiting...Picky

I just walked by what I think was the tour for the OVs this weekend. Big mob of people that had the appropriate mix of adults and students with football bodies. Looked like they were having a good time. All the prospects were kinda hanging out with each other while the parents chatted with each other.

That's about all I could gather without being super creepy about it.

It's actually tolerable. It's cold, but the wind isn't blowing. One of them was actually wearing shorts.

Well they should be tested with weather this weekend. We are under a "Lake Effect Snow Warning" here in south bend and the surrounding counties. We can expect 10-16" of snow!! I don't think anyone will wear shorts tomorrow!

Schmidt should find out his status early this week and if he is accepted, he’d likely make a trip to South Bend some time next week. Schmidt is good friends with current Irish target Troy Niklas, who is taking an official visit to Notre Dame this weekend. Schmidt had hoped to accompany Niklas on the trip, but has prior obligations, which will delay his opportunity to visit.
