Alford Update

Alright guys here we go....

They left Denzel's house and Denzel wants to go to ND but his parents told Alford thank you for coming but he's going to U.M. weather he likes it or not....

Thats the Bad news....

The awesome news.....

Alford told Rabasa that Everett Golson is pretty much a done deal and will be EE...This is the QB i want,he will change or offense from slow to Ludacris speed....

Alford also told him he was going to see a RB somewere in upper florida,didnt get a name,and that he was going to meet with like 5 other guys including Chickillo and Aaron Lynch.

Sad to hear about Denzel,but he's from the hood and thats all his parents know and they want him close to home... Like down the street close....

I agree with you. As a parent you should always want is best for your kids. Sounds like he really wanted to go to Notre Dame too. Why on earth would a parent deprive their kid to go to a top notched academic school with a good football program?? I just don't understand it.

IDK buddy...mama Lynch and Aaron have been very turned off with the way Irish fans have attacked them here, on other boards and on Facebook. she cited that people were calling Aaron an "oreo." With the way F$U has been playing as of late, the fact that they could go to a BCS bowl, Prestwood commiting to F$U and that it's close to home I think he stays at F$U.

True. I think it's pretty friggin dumb that coaches can't text recruits but recruits can text coaches. Lynch did say he couldn't call Alford because Alford became like a father figure to him.

Alford making an in home visit to the Lynch house (if true) is like going home on report card day knowing there's one grade your Dad is going to be mad about and you can't do anything to hide it.

Well, Lynch is really good player no doubt. But I think there are still a lots of guys left on the board at DE. Drew should be one of the guys they try to get. I am also intrigue by Lake Koa Kaai. He has a very impressive offer list, and I think someone said earlier that his family are Irish fans.

If there was any doubt of the direction of Notre Dame's program, those doubts and negative recruiting shouldn't hold any validity. BK and his staff are building a Physical culture in South Bend. To win the last 3 games with the injuries we've had are remarkable.

They should have been more turned off by the coaches that said he was 2 dumb for ND then by some random strangers on the internet!!!

The RB he might be going to see could be Mike Bellamy. It's not North Fla, but it's North of Miami lol. He is the 2nd ranked (rivals) back in the country and he has a verbal to Clemson. He is VERY fast, would be great to get him in the backfield with Golson.
