From what I've been reading it appears ND stopped recruiting him. Very weird. I really don't know what to think of all of this. Maybe it is one of those things where they are focused on winning football games and will hit the recruiting trail again in 3 days.

Sometimes when a staff stops recruiting somebody it means they feel really good about somebody else... Sometimes.

I read they did not have a spot for him

Then, I read his recruitment had picked up to the point that Rabasa's parents bought a ticket for him to come up to South Bend. He was supposed to come up for the Banquet. The Banquet was postponed due to the Irish qualifying for a bowl game. After that I got nothin'

I really think he might be one of those guys we make a late push for in bowl season if we have room. Let the chips fall where they may.

How do we not have room? We have 4 decommits in the last month. Even when we had Hayes, Lynch, Prestwood, and Burton, we were still talking about having room for 3-4 more. I'm just wondering how lack of room is coming into question right now.

I always thought we had room for 1-2 more before the decommits. I'm not sold on Floyd or Rudolph leaving. Either way, I wasn't trying to imply that we didn't have room, I was more implying that we will probably be making a push for him soon if the staff is interested in him unless something crazy happens and we gain 4 commits or so withing the next two weeks.

I wasnt trying to imply that you were wrong. I was confused and wondering if the staff told him we didn't have room for him. I know that he doesn't really fit the athletic build that Kelly normally looks for in his linebackers.

Im still really hopeful for Ishaq and French in this class. That would solidify this LB class assuming that we can hold on to Counsell and Rabasa.

De-commits. I believe it was when Rabasa visited the first time. Now I have no clue where we are on Perryman. He did make arrangements to come up to ND.

Maybe they want to see how they do with Doran Grant. I doubt he was even considered as a linebacker by the staff... His body type isn't really what they are looking for at that position.

Well his body type certainly is fit to be a cornerback so them recruting Doran Grant has nothing to do with Perryman. Especially considering the fact that they didnt start recruiting Grant until very recently.

I don't care what they are recruiting him as, the kid is an athlete and has one of the most impressive offer lists that I've seen. He's a definite get if we can.

The offer list doesn't matter if he doesn't fit into the system.

Rudy? Yes.

Floyd. Nope. NFL bound. As much as I hate to say that.

We'll see. Leinart was going to be the #1 pick and he opted to come back for another year. There is definitely a chance that neither, both or one of those guys goes pro.

I'm a Perryman fan after checking out his video. I love his skills and looking at his offer sheet it appears I'm not the only one. IMO his recruiting ranking/star ranking is being held down by size alone. The more I see of the kid the more interested I become.

^ It's about time Nick O'Leary committed to FSU. He was about as heavy of a lean without actually being committed as I can remember.

FSU's class is unreal and is only going to get better. They look good for Jacoby Brissett, Tony Steward, Tim Jernigan, and Marlin Lane. They already own the number 1 class according to ESPN.

I am just glad they aren't getting Clowney to go with all of that.

Semi-Finalist for Butkus award...

Just bringing this up because he was one of my guys...

Really pressed Kelly and staff to go harder after this kid, they eased up at the end cause they thought they couldnt win over mama and he would be to small to play MLB...
