A poster on rivals said he's been in contact with Coach Martin and said he's going to make a visit to campus. I don't know how reliable it is or valid, just wanted to pass along what I read.

It seems to be the word around. He even talked about visiting if I am not mistaken.

YYea this was posted in his thread yesterday.

To your point PolishIrishman posted this yesterday courtesy of espn:

Michigan State gets the first shot at Under Armour All-American defensive back Doran Grant (Akron, Ohio/St. Vincent-St. Mary), who will be in East Lansing for an official visit to Michigan State the weekend of Dec. 4.

Grant's official visit to Michigan State is the only one he has scheduled, but he is going to schedule at least three more.

"I'll be setting up visits to Ohio State, Notre Dame and USC," Grant said. "I'm pretty sure I'll take a fifth visit. That would be to Michigan, Penn State or Iowa."

The Irish offered Grant a scholarship long ago, but for many weeks he had been saying he had narrowed his list of over two dozen offers down to eight schools with Georgia Tech on the list, but not Notre Dame.

"Georgia Tech is out now," Grant said on Monday night. "Notre Dame came in and started talking to me again. Since my --- year I've loved Notre Dame. I want to check them out and see what the new coaching staff is all about with coach [Brian] Kelly."

One thing that has not changed would be the two schools at the top of Grant's list.

"Ohio State and Michigan State are still my top two," Grant said.

I'm sure Michigan, with their lack of CB depth, is going to pull out all of the stops to try to get this kid and prevent him from going to MSU, Ohio State or Notre Dame. Absolutely crazy the number of rivals involved in his top 5.
