'11 MI RB Justice Hayes (Michigan Commit)

I dont think we need a RB in this class...we have gray, wood, robertson....and could always pull riddick back if needed.

When is the last time an elite program went an entire recruiting cycle w/o a RB?

Justice Hayes is one of the LEAST likely ship-jumpers in the whole class. He, Brindze, Grace et al call themselves "The Justice League" and have been constantly trying to recruit FOR us. How does anyone come up with BS that's ignorant of facts such as that?? I almost suspect that people are just trying to irritate others when things like that are said.

Maybe in some sort of conspiracy he really wasn't trying to recruit for us!

Some years you take 2...and some you dont take any. Its about gettng the correct player to fit your system.. next year we are three deep...I am more conerned about Safety....

Oregon 2008, no RB recruited and they are #1 right now.

USC 2009

Virginia Tech 2010

and those were the few and just looked up real quick,( i got bored and am watching a movie)... I didn't go through all the "elite" teams. But it happens, and those are just the recent years I didn't go back any further for them.

There are amir, huggins, shuler....still out there- who knows this development may bode well for one of those guys. I am partial to shuler...because of his 4.3 speed.

Shuler is not being recruited as a RB. Diaco is hard after him for DB

It means that people are giving him **** over twitter. Which reminds me (directed to no-one in particular), NEVER talk to/facebook friend/twitter the athletes. Unless you are a coach or you are a student at the school, the full extent of athlete-fan interaction should be "hi, great game. Can I have your autograph."

Before we turn on him because he "does not honor his word" yada, yada, yada...think for a moment of some of the guys we are pursuing now and have signed before who were committed somewhere else. Unfortunately it is part of the procedure now. I would much rather have a kid open up his recruiting now rather than jump on signing day the way the two Littles did.

Our team has Cierre and Jonas, and is red-shirting Roberson, whom Kelly has said great things about. Also, there is no absolute reason that Atkinson couldn't be a star there. I questioned any absolute need that we had at RB a long time ago, but changed my mind when Cierre started literally stumbling around and everyone talked up Huggins and Hayes so highly. Cierre may be starting to get the magic back now, so I'm not about to jump off a ledge if we don't get an RB. [I have this sensation though that Atkinson could be a killer RB if Kelly wanted to put him there]. My broken record recruiting spiel is for more BIGs. I want a motherload of blocking monsters and a motherload of crashing defensive destroyers. [yeh, probably another corner too].

He always had an offer from UM. They already have a ESPN 150 running back in Demetrius Hart so I doubt he goes there.
