Navy isn't beating us - they are BEATING US DOWN.

There is NO way this should happen with the disparity of talent and size.

We are being out coached, out hustled, and out played.

this just makes me sick to my stomach. never seen them play this bad. i understand the time thing but nd should never lose to navy this bad. i understand close games but navy has beaten nd in every aspect of the game. starting to think crist is not the right guy for the job. he makes his mind up on who he's throwing to before the play starts.

can they stop the fullback please.

Crist is just a tiny fraction of the problem today. Offensive line, entire defense, coaching staff share the lions share of the blame today (~95% maybe).

Georgia Southern held Navy to 13 points, nuff said.

I will always love my school, and I will watch and cheer every week.

But there is an air of finality in this performance. An admission that it's not going to get significantly better. That this is a perpetual 7-5 program. I hope I'm wrong, and I'm not jumping off anything. I supported Boob, Ty, and Cdub, and will support BK.

We look lost. This is going to ding recruiting. Sorry, I'm on the NDOM side of the argument for now.

Go Irish.

There is no way to spin this. We got a firm example of how good ND is this week. We aren't that good in any aspect, and Kelly, along with his staff, are included. What people have been saying about ND's lack of athletic ability, is true. Navy is a faster team than ND.

weak is the word that comes to mind. i dont care about him getting his players in here this and that and the other, i want a team that is TOUGH, DISCIPLINED and will play HARDER than the other team.

this sissy foo foo offense and defensive strategy may end up working just fine but i really cant stand to watch it.

no toughness, no determination no will to win. keep your fancy strategy bs and give me a team that does those 3 things well and i will support you till the cows come home.

I feel like I have been 'giving it time' since Lou Holtz got forced out.

I could not have said it better myself. This loss made me sick to my stomach as well. We should never lose to Navy, let alone in this manner. With the size and talent we have, this should never happen. Im so very tired of watching the team i love get kicked around by teams we should crush.

This is the MOST embarrassing loss in all my years of watching ND football. Sure there have been "worse" losses, but to lose to a team that doesn't have a SINGLE player that was considered anything more than a 2 star recruit, and not just lose but get BEAT THE F*** UP is PATHETIC!!!

And before anyone says this S*** about how I'm just thinking its the end of the program, etc, etc, etc, seriously STFU!! I love this University and I will ALWAYS, FOREVER, bleed blue and gold.

This is an atrocity!! Losing a close hard fought football game is one thing, but they didn’t stand a F***in chance today!!! They were beat the second they walked on that damn field!!

I can't even stand to type anything else about this **** POOR, ABSOLUTLY the WORST LOSS IVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have often thought about this, and wonder sometimes if it's just an indication of the state of college athletics, and particularly football, in this day and age. I admit that I am only speculating, but I don't know that under Rockne and Leahy recruiting kids from all over the place primarily (or solely) to play football was that big a part of the picture. I think it was about starting with some lower middle class kids, who already had a core of toughness in them, and teaching them how to play football. They'd rip somebody's head off WITHOUT being "motivated" by the coaches to do it.

I know that by the '80's things had changed a lot, but sometimes I think that this recruiting of the best "prima donna's" (and I know I am generalizing here, and I am talking about the entire college system, not just ND) in the country to play football has just gotten worse. So, you end up with guys who come to ND thinking they are already great, and that they are entitled to win whether they earn it or not.

Not trying to boot the team when they are down, but the biggest thing that upset me today was just the lackluster performance. Our guys really looked like a bunch of p***ys out there playing against a team of tough, disciplined, men.

Maybe just a sign of parity. But somebody has got to put some iron in these guys' spines.
