Holtz to Minnesota?

On the local sports talk radio show, there is a rumor flying around that Lou might be back on the sidelines next year to coach the Golden Gophers with eventually Skip taking over. UM was a big name with their new stadium.

Minnesota is not a better job than South Florida and Lou is 73. But who knows.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Skip up there, but I doubt you'll see Lou. As for which is a better program, eh, I'd call it even. Minny has the better conf, but South Florida is, you know, in Florida.

I would like to see Skip Holtz get that job. He can certainly coach, and I'd like to see Minnesota become competent again. Plus Minnesota knows he's just waiting for the Notre Dame job to open up, which hopefully doesn't happen for fifteen years.
