Just read this article on ESPN

And it says Bennett Jackson will be backing up Goodman at the X-receiver.

My question is... Do any of you guys think this might be the coming out party for Jackson?
Because, I think he will develop into a great receiver sooner than later....

My bold prediction for the week is Bennett Jackson gets 50+ yards and 1 TD.

What do you guys think?

I really hope this happens...that would be great...but I think we are going to ground and pound the Middies

I think we might see a little bit of Jackson this weekend but not too much. I also seem to think we will be running alot this weekend and keeping the passing game somewhat simple.

I would expect to see Armando get limited action as well, and Cierre and Hughes switch off

His best best is to run a go route as a substitution and when the Middies are stacked in the box to stop Wood he flies right past them for six points. That would be sweet to see.

I find it hard to believe Kelly would reduce the numbers of passes too much, considering AA is going to be limited. Cierre and Robert would have some difficulties carrying the whole offense imo.

What happened to Jonas Gray? I would run Bennet on an end around

Bennett Jackson may not get a whole lot of touches this week but he is a "football player" not just a receiver, and yes there is a difference. He will be an exciting guy to watch over the next few years.

As far as this week is concerned, you are idiot if you think Kelly is gonna throw the ball 40 times. If we throw the ball 40 times....we lose this game!....Navy is going to try and have their patented 9 minutes drives. If ND throws it and goes three and out and runs 9 minutes off the clock on a drive there goes the whole quarter...we have to make navy come out of their element and throw ball before the halves.....

Iv been saying this since he got put in at KR, BK NEEDS to use him more!!! he is only on punt coverage and KR rite now, id like to see him at WR, PR and maybe do some fun "wildcat-esque" stuff with his speed

Kelly has said that the complexity of the offense is more confusing to Bennett than most of the guys---that's probably the only reason we haven't seen him in yet for at least a few plays. He says Bennett learns best by seeing it in the real---probably like Carlo. If Kelly sets up a small handful of simple read plays [end around would be a no-think example] we'll probably get some good stuff out of him. Everybody knows the talent is there.
