On a less agressive note after a long had bad workday that involved an hour car trip it was so awsome to see the last play of the game with pitt losing and us going back to 3-3 hopefully we build off of this and have a good season with a bowl win. Im still not ready to be totally happy about things yet but beating BC and Pitt both of whom I despise feels pretty good.

anyone who follows college football can see that, not just the folks here. But my question is why do so many here care? He is what he is, he is not changing, so you can continue to whine about it or ignore him and enjoy watching Kelly bring ND back and look forward to how uncomfortable that will make May in the not too distant future.

For the record, when he is not talking about ND, May is a pretty good, better than Holtz most of the time.

Better than Lou Holtz at what? Going into yesterday Lou was owning May on the pick 'em segment and Lou called the Alabama upset, and the Notre Dame victory. Last year Lou owned May on the pick 'em segment as well so I'm not exactly sure what part May has the advantage in?

It is something Irish fans have been waiting to be able to say since Chucks first year at the helm. Pittsburgh has owned us of late and therefore, Mark May has been able to run his **** sucker on ESPN and attempt to make our Hall of Fame headcoach look like a fool. Any TRUE Irish fan understands where this post comes from. I dont understand why you bounce around from thread to thread questioning whats been said or question points being made. If you dont like the thread then dont post in the thread. I would think this would be a down time for you at the moment anyway considering your trojans have lost two straight.

If you came to talk ND football, then don't tell people what they should be worrying about. Let them talk about what they want to talk about. ND fans don't like Mark May, you say you know that. So we finally beat his team, and some fans want to shove it in his face. Don't want to read about that? Well, then don't click on the thread. You say you want to talk ND football, then do it on other threads that interest you. But don't tell us you want to talk ND football, and then in the next breathe try to dictate to us what we should talk about.

Mark May is a football analyst, and while I don't always agree with comments re: Notre Dame, he doesn't deserve the vitriol being posted on this site. As a ND graduate, I'm ashamed to read the comments of fans supposedly schooled in Christian values. You have the right to free speech; I have the right to be critical of that speech.
