At some old ND videos and ran across this one of The Shark:

Man, what an electric player. He had it all, swagger, hands, speed, nose for the end zone. Too bad he didn't want to keep playing football..

He and Tate should have greyshirted until 2011.

yea man...I've seen this vid on youtube as well...pretty cool...I'd forgotten what a freak he was...those field level shots of him turning on the jets were cool...you forget how fast he was too...deceptive...two long strides and bam...gone.

Shark is easily one of my favorite players of the past 20 years (in all fairness, I'm 24 so the first 5 or so of those years aren't all that clear in my memory.)

Swagger is definitely the right first word to use when describing him... yea he had great hands, good size, and surprising speed but damn...swagger. It always felt like we were never out of a game as long as Quinn, Samardzija and Weis were in the stadium.
