How does one site have his strength as a positive feature and the other has it as a must improve. I freaking hate recruiting sites....

Welcome Mr. Tuitt.... :) I can't believe what Kelly is putting together here.

What I'm finding amazing and awesome at the same time, is that Kelly was able to pull in these last 3 highly rated prospects after a really tough loss!
This can only lead me to believe they can see our potential and really buy into Kelly.

Its been way too long since we had both an elite D and an elite O in town at the same time. Stars are aligning...that's the type of D line you can build a championship team around. Kelly will take care of the O, you'd be crazy if you were a recruit and didn't want to get on the ND bandwagon now... Aaron and Tuitt are going to be coming in like hellcats from the ends... BEAST!

The schedule may be a beast... but circle Manti's Senior year if this class holds...

potentially a very VERY solid team

Loading up at DE! Rabasa, Mr. Aaron "Beast-Man" Lynch and now Stephon "I'm #1 on Rivals" Tuitt.

Up next year: Loading up on DTs!

I'm thinking HammondIsGod. He will then have a minor non-fatal heart attack that will end his broadcasting career.

Unreal rebound from Saturday. I find comfort in these kids not popping because of the emotion of a win (really searching for straws), especially with him taking a few days to think about it. Great job by the staff and ND community to show this kid a great weekend and realize what makes all of us fans of ND.

I love it.

Like everyone else my jaw dropped when I heard about this. The feeling was that Stephon was going to take his time. I am so jacked about that defense... The insane thing is that many of these kids are under-rated right now, I sincerely think Aaron Lynch, Josh Atkinson and Jalen Brown are better than their rankings and will outperform guys ranked above them once they take to the field. Also the "DE"s who will really be OLBs like Rabasa are not properly evaluated by sites which consider only 4 man DLs.

Oh, and we now have 2 really fast really talented DEs and so many versatile guys who can play both sides of the ball...can you imagine cycling through these athletes??? Next man in and go 100% boys...I don't think anybody is going to say Notre Dame's defense is a question mark in 2 years...Hell next year! Diaco is going to create a monster with these kids!!!

Yeah, we gunna be beast for sure!

IrishIllustrated.com - Tuitt goes Irish
It looks like Notre Dame has found its bookend defensive ends for years to come.

The Irish secured the verbal commitment of four-star defensive end Stephon Tuitt on Wednesday, adding to a class that already includes four-star defensive end Aaron Lynch. Tuitt, a potential five-star prospect, took his official visit to Notre Dame last weekend.

"It's a great environment," Tuitt said. "It's a great coaching staff and a great football program. Plus they have my major."

Tuitt chose Notre Dame over scholarship offers from around the country but he had been considering a lead group of Auburn, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Miami, Tennessee and Notre Dame for some time.

Following his visit to South Bend, the 6-foot-5, 260-pound prospect said the Irish had surged into a tie with Georgia Tech and he still wanted to visit Miami and Georgia Tech one more time before making a decision.

But after a couple days of serious thought Tuitt decided to end the process by placing a call to Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly.

One of the appealing things Kelly offered during his recruiting pitch was early playing time for the nation's top strongside defensive end and No. 22 prospect overall.

"Most schools were offering that to me," Tuitt said. "But it might be a little bit more. I might be playing as a freshman. I just have to come in and work. I'm going to work my hardest and if I can play as a freshman that would be great."

Tuitt considers himself done with the recruiting process, although it's unlikely some programs will stop calling.

After seeing it up close last weekend Tuitt looks forward to running into Notre Dame Stadium in the blue and gold. It's a notion that even crossed Tuitt's mind as he was on campus.

"I said it a couple times when I was on the campus," Tuitt said. "I felt real comfortable
